I can't wait either. It shouldn't take long, since she has recently asked me if I was ok with the pose and color palette that she had chosen. For the skin, she proposed a color that--to me--looked like dark grey mixed with dark brown, which I honestly liked more than utter black, as it felt more natural and warmer. I also want her to have a lot of freedom in the design, so if she feels more comfortable drawing details with that color, it'll be well worth the loss of the obsidian skin tone to me.

Eilistraee's expression in this pic cracks me up. That's so her, carefreely dancing in the middle of the wretched hive of villainy that the Dark Seldarine is.

I've seen this one in passing on Deviantart before, but now you've posted it here I've just now realized she has two swords in this portrayal. I know "Demihuman Deities" said she could have two, but I think this might be the first fanart I've seen of her actually like that. Almost all images of her I've seen before tend to have the Moonsword only. Kind of cool. :)

Eilistraee has 2 swords of dancing, and her Moonsword. She has a lot of swords, lol

If you want to look like a living blender... :p

Anyway, I've been browsing my D&D pic folder as of late, and I came across this quite tender scene. I can't remember who drew it, so I can't give credits, but here it is.

Here are the lines, if they prove too small to read:
[quote:ni9t9pvu]I will remember it always/
The night I stumbled upon your sacred grove/
I saw you standing there, clothed only in moonlight/
Your silver hair floating around as if a creature all its own/
You danced... it made my heart beat faster/
And took my breath away/
You sang that night. The goddess breathed a voice into your ever-silent lips/
Your holiest of rituals and there I was... the intruder/
Oh Astraea... my Astraea/
You should've killed me that night, you had every right to/
At least I would have died with your face in my thoughts/
But instead.../
I will remember it always.[/quote:ni9t9pvu]

Aww, that was lovely. Had the Your Name music playing in the background as I read it too. ;)

And he didn't get tortured for watching. Hint hint.

That's because Lisa Smedman didn't write the script.

A vaguely subtle hint is hard if you just blurt it out like that.

A sketch of Eilistraee [slightly NSFW, I guess]

That's an absolutely lovely imagine. :)

(And as I said in the other thread, removed the hide tags from the post until I can fix support for them).

Thank you for fixing this, Shir'le.

And yes, I immediately loved that picture. It's so sweet, yet I can see a hint of sadness and melancholy in her expression. It's a bit more youthful than I expected (not much, Eilistraee is the Dark Maiden for a reason), but it really fits her.

Wow. A really interesting angle of perspective, too.
