Hmm, seems I'm in good company with some of my choices. That said:
1: Chicago (still going strong on tours! Plus, more albums than you can shake a tree at!)
2: Metallica (my hubby got me into them)
3: Nightwish/Evanescence (a tie)
4: Lordi (demonic awesomeness!)
5: Bob Segar (cause he sooo rocks- who DOESN'T love "Old Time Rock and Roll"?)

Once again, there's just toooooo many of 'em to tell which is the best, more so that I like to diversify my playlist. Among others:
Swans
Lacuna Coil
Godsmack
16 Horsepower
The 80's Matchbox B-line Disaster
These Arms are Snakes
Vader
Behemoth
Death
Metallica
Overkill
Paradise Lost
AC/DC
Apocalyptica
Blind Guardian (this would be a candidate for best of the best, if it weren't for)
QUEEN
Creed
Deep Purple
Pink Floyd
Geez, this could go on for ever...

Hmm, you and my hubby and the Five Finger stuff....
Drowning Pool is the $h*t! How about Rob Zombie (with OR without White Zombie), The Black Mages (Yes, I love FF music gone rock...), Santana or A-ha!

And Chicago and a-ha aren't tame?! Most of the hard stuff I listen to was introduced by my hubby. I have VERY broad tastes.... (Except for (c)rap and country- can't stand cryin' in beer or "gangsta" trash-mouth.)
