Going a little back in this thread, don't say "bands of my generation". I hate that division, though it is somehow natural and obvious. I love those bands you named. They're just awsome. Sure I listen more to contemporary music, but those that were before, simply rock. They set a course. I was raised listening to Black Sabath, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Queen. Those are bands. Not one hit wonders of today. I bought an album of System of a Down and found three nice tracks. The rest was crap. Out of eight albums I made 1! That's pretty much what I can do to a majority of rock albums today. (Except for TOOL) Whereas those earlier albums were briliant.

And sadly I didn't see School of Rock.

To be honest I don't like Jack Black in much of anything (even when he plays more serious roles like in King Kong. Still, the role of rocker seems to fit him.
