Growing older and cynical

<t>Not sure if this really belongs here, but in the prospect of spreading joy, I felt this the best place to speak of this. As the topic says, I find in recent years I've been growing more cynical. More intolerant, and even bitter, towards certain types of people. I remember back to when I was just ...

Re: [Arena] Raiders in the grain fields.

<t>Whipping of winds and gathering form of a mighty elemental, certainly enough to catch anyone's attention. A gnoll defending humans? Not your average slobbering mongrel praising Yeenoghu, by this alone, but it gets a little better. Even the simplest of barbarians know, when these beings of pure el...

Re: Inriiaynrae Jaelre

Hey! About the shades on the iguana... reminds me of Sundark Goggles, one of many clever inventions made by kobolds. Essentially counteracts the light-sensitivty issuefor those races that spend most of their lives in the dark.

Re: [Arena] Raiders in the grain fields.

<t>So annoying, chaos and screams don't mix well with fine drink or good food. Dish as pushed to mid-table, a final draught taken from a good ale, and one of those lone figures that so oft lurk in a corner, smelling and looking like trouble rises from his seat. Clad in a concealing cloak of wolf fur...

Re: "Come Little Children..."

<t>All the many years of training, and education as a member of Lolthite society, as well as that of the societies he would be intended to infiltrate as a saboteur, and at the notion of these outsiders being his 'companions' and for that matter traveling WITH them, Sil's first thought was instinctua...

Re: "Come Little Children..."

<t>No response... none that could be discerned anyway. A fool's errand? Not really, but this is all turning out to feel like a waste of his talents, a couple flashy spells, and nothing more done, neither blade drawn, and of course, there is that sense of disappointment, having expected mundane Dride...

Re: "Come little children...."

<t>Been waiting on everyone else to post, and I'm still here, waiting... well as patiently as I can. Kingdoms of Amalur is keeping me distracted enough. Playing a pure mage character on that can be fun, throwing around freezing whirlwinds, flaming meteor showers, and calling down lightning strikes. ...

Re: "Come Little Children..."

<t>All these surfacers in agreement of leaving, Silinrul dismisses his spell, lifting the spherical barrier, but not without already having decided what shall be his next spell, should Onix try to retaliate. Still he remains watching the scene unfolding, waiting for these outsiders to leave, and of ...

<t>((Been forgetting to post on here))<br/> <br/> Perhaps a stray thought had distracted him, perhaps some new orders had been sent to him by those whose alliance he gave before his House fell, it could have been many things, even Iejir had begun to notice the distant and vacant expression on Silinr...

<t>((Awesome to see this back.))<br/> [quote:25eow63a]<br/> Noting the pale drow stranger, Lothir, turns to regard the newcomer with both curiosity and concern. "By the gods, does the ENTIRE vithin UNDERDARK know where we are?! Who are you, and what concern is it of yours what happens here? Are you ...

Re: Looking for an Avatar Pic

<t>Hmmmm... That might work, and then run the elf pic through photoshop, put a mask over everything but the hair, and lower the color saturation until it gets nice and white. 'Course... I just need to find my copy of Photoshop, hope to gods it'll work with Windows 7, and remember hope to create a ma...

Looking for an Avatar Pic

<t>As I've made Silinrul my primary character since putting him into use, I've been trying to find a suitable picture. Internet is chock full of ordinary Drow, pictures. However, I can't find any pics for Albino Drow (Szarkai), anywhere. If anyone knows where to find such a pic, or could create one,...

<t>Oh I'm still in it if you're still up for it, matter of fact, I know Pheu has been asking around, trying to figure out if anyone has anything they want to post before you do, I think so far we've been waiting on you.<br/> <br/> Though on a side note, for Onix, the spell I threw out there had some...

Re: DemonWeb Pit's Tavern of the Underdark.

<t>Piwafwi cloak still worn, though Underdark life left mostly behind, a most peculiar visage of drow-kind enters the inn a bit hesitantly, houseless rogue, outcast male, all that came with such labels, he knew were quite possibly the criticism he could face. After so long topside, he did not want t...
