Re: The Official Eilistraeen Music Thread
I've been playing this one a lot lately. I kind of vaguely remember it may have been posted before, but it's not here anymore. Someone was kind enough to post the English translation in the comments of the youtube video, so I reposted here. I think some of the lines evoke quite Eilistraeen imagery, ...

Re: General wellness check
It seems you're set, then. Though, if at any point you feel you'd need one, perhaps a scarf or bandana, if it's difficult to obtain masks? I have a friend in WA that just went around with half her face wrapped in a bandana or turning up a high turtleneck when shopping and figured that was better tha...

Re: General wellness check
So everything is fine with me and mine. And I'm glad to hear that you are all well too. And again my apologies for not checking in sooner. Also glad to hear that you and your family are well. :D Are you by chance also masking up if you need to go to the store? I read the London mayor was suggesting...

Re: General wellness check
Update: I couldn't edit my other post so I just added a new one (and then I had to delete and edit this one again since I don't want to be hyperbolic and imply things are somehow worse then they actually are.) Our governor issued a blanket 'shelter in place' order on top of the shutdown, so they are...

Re: General wellness check
I'm in CA, so we count as one of the hard hit ones Stateside, I suppose. We're in the middle of a two week shutdown to try to "flatten the curve," so we're all at home at this point. People try to stay home if/when they can and when they have to go out, masks are de rigour if you can get t...

If anything they're the most likely to be upbeat, I guess. XD

Re: Eilistraee art
Much improved. The bodyline is not as stiff and has become more fluid, the chest is more in proportion with the rest of the frame, the features are in line with the face and the hair detailing is better. Regarding smaller details, the shoulders are still a little stiff and the arms from the shoulder...

Re: The Official Eilistraeen Music Thread
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tz5ibJhxowM I think this one would be more about an Eilistraeen drow's mindset. Oddly I think it also reminds me of Liriel Baenre and her dilemma between "thinking and dreaming." But now I think about it, it could also reflect Eilistraee's mindset when she f...

Re: Eilistraee art
I have a few pieces of Eilistraee art I did to test the paper. https://www.deviantart.com/ultimatewkar/art/Inked-only-Eilistraee-806168240 The first one I did with only the ink pen, I didn't set up any guidelines of any kind. I just did it. *raises eyebrows* This is not bad. The body is paradoxical...

Re: Eilistraee art
Ooo. The word imposing comes to mind. It just has a bit of that wild blue yonder, epic, grand vibe about it. It almost feels a bit like that part in Greenwood's "Silverfall" where Qilue is pointing out what she takes to be a sign of Eilistraee in the vast sky to her fellow clerics. I like ...

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
I saw the trailer on another forum and it does look interesting. I didn't play the original Baldur's Gate stuff though, since I only started D&D video games with NWN1.

Re: Eilistraee art
I don't know if it would really solve your issue, but given where you're at in the picture, I'd suggest trying to pare back the prominence of the highlighter on the cheeks a bit. Then sharpening the lighting on the line of the nose as well as expanding the reach of the secondary lighting on the tip ...

Re: Eilistraee art
Hairshine is still good, brows are now great, background is good...To be honest I'm not sure if it's just my computer display, but I can't really see her mouth anymore. If it's not just me, you might actually have over-corrected some on the lighter. ^^;;

Re: The Official Eilistraeen Music Thread
I'm glad you like it. Sorry that I rarely reply to these posts. Posts of this nature can be big timesinks for me so I can't always gather together a proper reply. But I'll just say that I don't see the idea of putting away a mask and constructs as necessarily so different from exposing a hypothetica...
