[color=darkgreen:1c7uzsdj]Smiling Quel starts to slowly circle Xandar, his blades still held in a defensive position, and the light coming from his eyes starting grow a little stronger. Upon the completion of the third circuit, Quel having been slowly closing the distance each time he moved around his opponent, the male lashes out with both "blades".

One blade goes high, seeming to be aimed for the neck and shoulder area then suddenly veers downward at the last instant, moving in more at the waist area. The other blade, having been aimed at the lower extrmeties, somewhere around the calfs, angles in now at an upward strike to hit just below the hips and seem to carve at an upward angle through the body. However, both blows can be easily deflected if not blocked outright and Quel knows this. Having his next set of moves already planned, the drow male just has to wait and see what the other drow male, Xandar has in store for him.[/color:1c7uzsdj]

[color=blue:137x2uu5]Xandar: Sees the simple, but aggressive attack, but doesn't parry, and instead, takes several (very,very fast) steps back, and resets his stance.[/color:137x2uu5]

[color=darkgreen:1b23k39a]Just as soon as Quel takes note of Xandars' quickstep backpeddling he smiles and drops down, sweeping out a foot to take his opponents feet from him. Another simple attack true, but one that may take his opponent by unexpcted surprise.[/color:1b23k39a]

[color=darkgreen:311r3f4v]Seeing his opponent start to rise into the air Quel goes over itno a dark corner in the battle pit and pulls out a bow and quiver of blunt arrows and begins to fire upon him. Whether he hits Xandar with any of the arrows or not the male warrior could care less, but if one of the two arrows he's managed to fire this time strikes, it'll make it all the better in the ling run.[/color:311r3f4v]

[color=blue:10gaj1nf]Xandar: *Sees Qhell whip out a bow and imediately drops, just missing the arrows. Lands on the ground and throws a "dagger" at his fast moving opponent.*[/color:10gaj1nf]

[color=darkgreen:wo6ytrkb]Seeing Xandar drop and watching the whipping motion of his hand, Quel immediately rolls to the ground, dropping the bow and snatching his poles up again. Having just narrowly avoided the thrown dagger the fighter takes up a different stance this time when he comes back up, one that hasn't been seen in a long time if at all.

One pole relaxes against the drows arm in a reverse hold while the other is held straight out in front of him, pointing towards his opponent. Settled and comfortable in his position Quel begins to circle Xandar once more, watching and waiting for the slightest hint of an offensive movement from the other drow.[/color:wo6ytrkb]

[color=blue:aewdkx2z]Xandar: *Tires of this mundane fighting, throws another dagger to distract Qhell, then begins to cast mirror image, in case his dagger misses.*[/color:aewdkx2z]

[color=darkgreen:33mi7bqv]Spinning out of the way of the dagger Quel extends his right pole out in a swiping motion in the last place that he had saw Xandar. While doing this his eyes flash from silver to topaz for just a second as he senses that something might just be a little amiss about what his eyes are telling him and what his nose is picking up from elsewhere.[/color:33mi7bqv]

[color=blue:362w6l7f]Xandar: Watches as his illusions dissapear. Summons globe of darkness and dives downward toward the center of the globe, roles, and comes up in a spin, swords swinging[/color:362w6l7f]

[color=darkgreen:2eoacq11]Within the globe Quel manages to block aome of the wild swings completely, although one he just barely manages to deflect far enough to keep it from being more than a minor "injury". Now knowing where Xandar is in relation to him, the drow ranger unleashes a flurry of hiw own.

In another spinning manuever Quel drops low to the ground leading with his left hand, aimed toward where the other males thighs should be, and his right hand coming in a bit lower, aimed more at the calfs. Once this move is completed he then stands straight up and brings in a vicous overhand chop with his left hand, aimed at the angle btween neck and shoulder, while his right comes in in a whistling side swing, aimed toward the midsection.[/color:2eoacq11]

[color=blue:30zou0zr]Xandar: *Doubles over from the painof all of his new bruises. Falls to the ground, darkness globe dissapears* "An excellent duel, my friend, congratulations on winning." *Gets up to shake Qells hand*[/color:30zou0zr]

[color=darkgreen:2p1m779a]Quel blinks a bit at the sudden remergence of the light and takes Xandars offered hand. [i:2p1m779a][b:2p1m779a]Aye abbil, it was a nice duel.[/b:2p1m779a][/i:2p1m779a] Releasing the other drows hand he wraps an arm about his former opponents shoulders to help him from the pit, knowing exactly what it feels like to have those particular blows landed upon ones person.[/color:2p1m779a]
