(( Ah see, I get confused when things aren't listed on sheets. Natural DM habit.
But, How did he suddenly A) Notice and instantly zip to hespa who was well out of sight, hearing, pretty much out of the encounter zone. B) Notice the new drow on the outskirts of town was the Human girl he was fighting. Sorry if these are getting annoying, I'm lawful by nature and have to understand things.))

Hespa dodged unerringly. She was in her own form now. The five hundred year old, yet still young adult, drow form she'd grown in, adapted, and trained all these years. The same form that housed her "Half"-Dragon benefits and could cover fifty feet in in seconds. (Speed: 50ft. Dex mod: +10)
In a backwards movement she threw herself mentally into the air, teleporting a solid eighty feet above. In the same movement, she drew her crystalline weapon. Much like a Wand or Dorje in function, however the weapon never ran out of charges and only housed one effect, a small focused mass of force and sonic energy shaping itself into a very roughly arrow headed shape but more cylindrical and without the shaft.
In quick rapid pulls she sent three shots toward the monk. These moving much faster then any mere bow could match.

Zyeke managed to avoid two of the arrows, but the third one solidly planted itself in his shoulder. The mental shock broke the concentration necessary to maintain his ethereal state. He stood up, blood dripping down the arm he had been hit in. The flow stemmed almost as soon as it started, and Zyeke hardly even noticed it.

Standing up from behind the crates, Zyeke walked over to where Elwyn stood and nodded a smile on his face.

"She is indeed very skilled in long range fighting, very hard to peg down... but she leaves her body fairly vulnerable to a group attack. I believe we would do well to take her along nonetheless."[/color:3j8u82v4]
Elwyn nodded and his fingers drummed on his chin.

"Fair enough. Now where did she get off to? I lost sight of her after she decided to jump off that building."[/color:3j8u82v4]

Zyeke turned to Inrii,

"She is on the Ethereal Plane, we need a sorceress to contact her."[/color:3j8u82v4]

Hespa blinked back into existence before the group. It was obvious he was done.
She disagreed with what he said however. a rather lame observation by his part, Especially since there was no such situation in the test to judge that, and the burst power. Bursts are typically meant for groups.
She readied a quick shield just in case the other two were startled by her sudden appearance as she was human when they last saw her.

Shes 500 years old, which is only young adult by At. Dragon aging. Her body however, appears Drow by default. if that clarifies things, Z.

Zyeke nodded in her direction,

"We would be very honored if you accompanied us, Elwyn and you would make a decent group..."[/color:2y0bo5ux] He trailed off, considering the tactical advantages far before there was even any mention of an actual fight.

Elwyn shrugged, he was hardly keen on working with a new person, but he trusted Zyeke.

"You jump to dividing us up far too soon. I believe you had some business to attend to here?"[/color:2y0bo5ux] Elwyn said, turning to Hespa.

(OOC: omgHOLY S**T I just looked out the window and the moon is huge and a bright, vibrant yellowish orange!!!! wait.. sorry.)

"Yes. It will be finished by morning however. So worry not." Hespa said. Back in one of her true forms her voice was smoother and toned inadvertently sounding somewhat cruel and seductive. If not for her Dragon blood, she would have been destined to be a matriarch for sure. She carried herself much the same. Somewhat prideful, which stemmed both from Dragon pride and Drow pride, as well as forceful and demanding despite how she felt otherwise.
She was mildly aware of it as well. Yet another reason besides drow stereotypes that she remained morphed when in public.

((Inriia's wondering thru town. so she aint around unless yall specifically came to her. but i was half confused thru yalls battle anyway. Hespa should guess Inriia is drow since she spoke in it. [/size:3bukt6gc]
my character must be a wimp compared to yall! if another rogue comes along. i'm useless. [/size:3bukt6gc]anyway, enough blabbing...))

As she walked thru the village, she heard the commotion going on around her, how could she not feel the magic? She was careful to remain hidden and out of sight while she browsed the place and goods in tent like stalls. they had nothing of use.
Still bored, the young drowess walked on.
Inriia then moved twords a larger building, what passed as the tavern and inn. Drunk people were good targets to lift off some coin from, and possible cause some trouble.
Tho she still had that chest... naw, better to do it when she knew she had time. the sounds of the battle had finished. and the village had quieted down some again. Looking up to judge the time from the suns position (not sure what), "eh, if they were any good, they'd find me," she said to herself stepping inside to 'work'.

((Unless the making of water is a fascinating process I say we just skip on to the next day. Or if Inrii has something interesting to do.))

Elwyn looked around, he seemed to have lost track of Inrii while watching the two drow fight. He shrugged unconcernedly, she was no child, and could take care of herself.

"Do what you will, just be ready to travel early in the morning."[/color:2ajfeytq] He said to Hespa, and without waiting for a reply, simply waved at her over his shoulder, and in a flash of lightning vanished.

Zyeke chuckled apologetically,

"I apologize for attacking you. But it was a good fight, I hope you can keep that up, for more than your line is on the line from here on out."[/color:2ajfeytq]

He bowed, and scooping up his cloak tossed it over his shoulders in the same motion. With a wave farewell, he backflipped through the air, landing on a building a few feet away. He kept on leaping from roof to roof, heading out of the village.

((Lets imaginificate... shush that's a word))

The next morning, before the sun even rose, Elwyn roused the group. The party only had the two camels, but Elwyn hardly cared. Giving them to the females, he pulled out a large scroll that had a feather tied around it. Unfurling it on the ground, a giant roc appeared, and Elwyn hopped up on it, fingers sparking with electricity.
Zyeke stood, the hood of his cloak lowered, his staff held firmly in his hand. It seemed as if he was simply going to job along with the group. The oasis had been filled, and the town would be brimming with the news when the people awoke.

Hespa seemed to be worn out, yet still sitting determined on the camel provided her. With a wave of his hand, Elwyn flew off on his roc, and the rest of the group set off, Zyeke pacing the camels, his breathing steady. For several hours the group traveled with no interruptions, but suddenly, the roc Elwyn was riding on, took a steep dive to the ground, landing just in front of the group.

"There are some ruins that are a usual stomping ground of my clan."[/color:1wx8wiis] He turned to Hespa, "Can you read residual auras or the like?"[/color:1wx8wiis]

That night, Hespa visited the plateau. It took most the night and several of her most powerful spells. But she hollowed out the center by using Raise Land twice, and using her Tsunami power, filled it with swirling waters which escaped down a trench she made leading down to the oasis. She'd made sure the water wouldn't simply vanish into the desert ground thanks to two things: One, she turned the sides of the hollowed bowl shaped lake to glass using lightning and heat, two: Even if it was absorbed, she spent a lot of energy making the Tsunami power permanent. Which could effectively make matters worse if the hollow were to be breached but psionic reinforcements would make that a job on par with destroying a major castle.
Things were not all easy, in addition the the power drains, she overestimated her tsunamis and they flooded right over the brink. She was forced to expend her armors enchantment to restore her power to be able to manifest her more potent powers again to again reshape the plateau to leak in Four directions beyond the one to the town creating three more small lakes like that which the town was situated around. Which could only benefit in the future, making it ideal to create a large city around. At last, she moved the two large masses of earth back over the lake, doming it in to prevent someone from tampering with it. For lasting effect, she glassed the dome creating a beautiful wonder that would be visible for miles.
Drained, and feeling noticeably less powerful as she was before she started (the permanent effects draining XP but not a level) was forced to turn into her dragon form, When she was as so she felt more powerful and it helped sustain her when low on energy.

There she slept at the base of the project until grudgingly awaking at first light when she dragged herself to meet the others back in her drow form.
Hiding her tired state easily to the point she appeared as mearly drowsy as if she wasn't a morning person, she mounted the camel. Her story was she stayed up just after dark to meet with a trader she was supposed to meet up with days ago. It took her a while to find him, but she did. and bought the deeds to a building in a bigger city about a few weeks journey away. the man use to own it, but was forced to move when they dropped in wealth and were unable to keep supporting their family there.
and was soon asked by Elwyn "Can you read residual auras or the like?"
"Yes." She said. Not mentioning that she was always reading auras. Seeing residuals was just as easy, just faded.

Inriia spent a good long time pilfering items from drunks, and then found a room (free of charge...), secured it and tried to rest. Even in reverie, nightmares tried to haunt her, or more actual memories.

while it was still dark, in the pre-dawn the girl was at a table attempting to eat a small meal before she noticed the human coming to get her.
--
the sorceress rode along in silence, curious about the other two drow. and why the one was running? did he owe or was a slave to the human? pathetic then, what drow would allow that? of course here she was following his leading...for now.
and the female, was she a matron? she definately had the power. But from her visit to a city below and what she knew of spider-kissers, they didnt act like this. much less cooperate with lesser races.
were they of the Dancing Lady?
her thoughts were stopped as they stopped, scanning the area upon activating the ruby of her belt (true seeing).

The area was simply that, yet another part of the endless sea of dunes. Only the top of the structure that Elwyn was referring to broke the monotony of the ever present dunes. The group made their way towards the structure, a small yet sturdy pyramid, with a small row of columns leading towards the entrance.
Elwyn stopped before the entrance, and now sat with his legs crossed, eyes closed. Occasionally, a spark of lightning would arc around his body. Suddenly, a small blade flew out of the sand, and hovered in the air next to Elwyn's face. He opened his eyes, and after surveying it for a few moments, he floated it in Hespa's direction.

Hespa didn't need to touch it. She felt them, Impressions given off by the aura surrounding the object.

"The last one to use it wore an eyepatch... and had a beard, Male. I also feel something about... Like a Sphinx or Mantacore. a Lion with a human head? Someone needed to pass it, I believe." She told it how she felt it. It didn't work like most suspected, seeing past or future that is. It wasn't seeing at all. but feeling it.
Hespa said. She may have gotten a more accurate reading if she didn't use so much power last night. Some would say Waisting so much power. But she was not one of them, She knew her gift would benefit many generations of desert people, at least. And thats if its abused or taken for granted.
