((the second part before i head off. gone till wednesday. i hope this is ok))

Shadowblade and its darklike energy spun and struck the oncoming invisible sword with a small shower of sparks. its magical energy felt by even the most insensitive of raw magical power. he had to avoid that edge at all cost. the bandit, however, realized he appeared in normal sight, his sneak attack fooled by the ruby of her belt.
metal clinked with metal, drowess ducked and reversed her step, her sword up to parry. the heavy hit of the thick human sent vibration up her arms. Inriia kept herself going, ignoring the pain in her ankles as her feet kept up with the vicious attack.
the rogue in a furious whirl, shortsword dipping and diving, slicing at every angle. but the human's dexterity was no match for the drow's own, and many times all he found was air or the block of her longsword. another blade, Dancing Shiv appeared in the sorceress hand.
Inriia responded in an indistinguishable blur. Whirling blades crossed in a defensive parry from both. Both twirled and slashed, as the drowess danced and thrust.
another was attempting to sneak in less stealthy he was. the sounds of his feet crunching loudly upon the snow to her keen ears. the sorceress reversed her slash at the last second, Dancing Shiv moving in and cutting up and into the second bandit, leaving a wide gash across his abdomen. he grunted loudly, dropping the dagger to clutch his bleeding side. Shadowblade blocked again, just in time. a centimeter closer would have left another nasty gash in her. she'd had her fill of them.
then she kicked out to send the other sprawling. the mage was making its way around, his hand moving into a rhythem while his voice hoarsely spoke the words. magical energy gathered as he pointed, and flaming arrows shot out at her. they hit her in the chest hard, throwing her off a slight balance as he had removed her mage armor earlier. the bandit took the opportunity to move in as she regathered her step.
the short sword sliced cutting into the sleve of her outter shirt and knicking the forarm. focused into the fight, she didnt feel the hot liquid running down her arm.
Inriia looked down, as he smirked, then she narrowed burning crimson eyes, "xun dos zhaun lu'oh mzilt nindol siffat ky'ostal tri'sae valzu? olt naut fridj whol lore. waele rivvil"
then with her own wicked smirk, she back flipped outta of range of the dispell zone thrown up and closer to the mage.
he finished his next spell as the bandit was chasing the drowess down.
Inriia smarted off again in her tongue as the next spell hit her, this time an acid arrow to the back. she rolled/tumbled forward with the push coming back up to her feet. Dancing Shiv slid back into place, freeing a hand, which was quick to moved in the correct sequence while the words rolling off with ease; purple streaks of magical energy shot forth at the enemy mage and he stumbled back. Inriia ducked and turned from the shortsword aimed for her neck, bringing her own blade up again to parry.
"you stupid humans never learn," she spat in his tongue coming low for his knees.
the mage was up again, feeling the sting, while another few were heading her way hoping to out number the lone drowess.
this time, she let them. keeping pace with the skilled bandit and letting them draw close. her trick, one she hadnt used but once since discovering it, was about to come in handy. the bandit noticed the change in her movement, the slight change in body language. he knew of the dark elves and the skill they had. truthfully he'd been surprised, slightly, to have lived as long. tho he had help. she hadnt been using all of her skill.
it didnt bode well.
"go back to the hells to your spider demon!"
that did it.
and with the other two in range, she released it. a black cloud of pure negative energy, the power of a shadow dragon in a single breath sprewing forth from her.

Kalannar had of course followed Luexena during the night as she sang, keeping to the shaodws. She likely knew he was present, it wouldn't have been the first time he had scoem to see her sing. Still, like most of the other times, he didn't seek to interupt her, just frowning at the sad song that emanated from her. It tore at him to hear songs of sadness brought from her, when she should have been singing of joy. As her song ended, he returned to the camp ahead of her, moving to slip into a tent near his horse, to make it seem like he had been there the entire time before he drifted off to rest.

An hour before the morning sun graced the tents, Kalannar yawned and rose up, again taking a quick trip to the nearby pond and lake with his horse and just relaxing there while the others rested. Until the glimmers of the sun washed over the camp. When that happened he returned and after packing up he rode up to Veraka and Luexena, nodding to her words. [i:10h0femi]"Oi! Ca' show them m' pon'!" He said with a grin. "An' I can push ya in as well."[/i:10h0femi]

When they came upon the bandits he just watched them quietly. This, and similar sights the pirate was used to, having lived among pirates most of his life. Though in previous occasions he had not been in a position to help them, though at the time, he saw no need to either. However his time with Luexena had brought out his better side, the stuff he had to hide among pirates and the like. Though when Veraka roared, the pirate froze for a few moments, wondering just what the hell happened to cause it as he had been lost in his own thoughts. Seeing the mans jugular ripped open, Kalannar winced and drew his steel and hopped off his horse making a bee line to the nearest bandit and slashed at the mans abdomen as he drew a throwing knife with his free hand and launched it at another. [i:10h0femi]"Crap! Someon' calm th' crazy aasimair dow'!"[/i:10h0femi]

The scene of carnage hardly phased Elwyn. He had seen worse. With a quiet sigh, and a shake of his head, Elwyn pulled the off the hood and face mask covering his head. The smile that twisted his face into a mask of enjoyment complemented the glittering of eyes that were looking upon another scene. The three bandits who charged him didn't notice the blood thirst and killing intent flowing from the puppeteer. Elwyn slowly raised his hands, fingers spread open. Sparks danced under his fingernails, and still smiling insanely, the Elwyn jerked his hands apart. One of his assailants stopped, a look of confusion on his face. The man shakily raised a hand to his neck, feeling a small bead of blood that hadn't been there before. He tried to take a step forward, but suddenly keeled over, his head rolling free from a neck that was obviously cauterized.
Sparks danced in the air around Elwyn, and small glowing wires became visible around the man, coming from the fingers of his hand. The other two attackers, oblivious to the fate of their fellow bandit pressed on, the man on the right raising a club almost as large as he was. The muscles in his arms bulged mightily, a wave rippling from his shoulders to his hands, and that club darted across with such speed and force that it almost became a blur. Elwyn couldn't avoid that hit, but he hardly cared, he had no ribs to be broken. The force of the hit lifted the Calim man from his feet, and tossed him back a good half dozen feet. The attacker overbalanced, turning almost two full rotations after the attack, the momentum of the blow was so great that he couldn't stop it immediately.
The second man drew a dagger, and leapt on the prone form of Elwyn, arm raised in a killing blow... and it stayed there. Despite how hard the man struggled, he found that he was unable to move his arm. The man's expression changed from happiness to fear, as he saw that his "easy kill" was not only awake, but fully lucid. Elwyn flicked a finger on his left arm, and blood flew from the man, a wire had cut through the upper half of his body. The man fell dead. Elwyn pushed the corpse off him, and his gaze settled on his remaining attacker.

"This is for puppeteers, this is for knowledge, this is for life."[/color:33brwndx]

Elwyn kept muttering, the front of his white cloak stained with the younger man's blood. He took a step toward the man, and tried to raise his arms again. His eyes opened in surprise, as only his left arm responded to his mind's command.
The right, which had been hit by the club wielding bandit, was twisted in a heap of metal and wood, occasionally sparking with the electricity Elwyn used to command his mostly lifeless body. With a scowl, Elwyn reached into his pack, the insanity gone from his eyes, replaced by something that amounted to surprise. He pulled out a scroll bound by a strip of dark leather, which under closer expression was in fact a dried strap of drow skin. He tossed that scroll at the large man, and he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Within a few seconds, the smoke cleared, and there stood his drow puppet, holding a pair of bloody short swords, the club wielding man lying at the feet of the puppet, a crimson stain growing under his body.
With a sigh, Elwyn looked around for more enemies charging him, but could find none. With a wave of his hand, Elwyn dismissed his puppet, and with his good arm, taking the gourd and pack from his back, rummaged around in it for his tool kit. Giving his right arm a sharp tug, Elwyn popped it out of the socket at the elbow. With a groan of resignation, he looked over the twisted and splintered limb. The thing could possibly be reconstructed, the wood was readily available, and the metal from the could be salvaged.
His attention turned from the broken limb to the dent in his right side. The reinforced iron and wood frame had been bent inward slightly by the blow that had shattered his arm. Elwyn could only be glad that strike hadn't hit him head on. Lightning flashed between the fingers of his working hand, and Elwyn used the magnetic waves to straighten the iron back into place.

Luexena sighed, slipping off the horse's back, murmuring a quiet prayer again, walking right into the middle of the fight, the singing sword of hers was sheathed. Two bright flashes of light covered the battleground and all the people within it - those were the two [i:iatjmte9]Words of Faith[/i:iatjmte9] tossed at the enemy which would blind or stun them, unless they had a strong will to resist the powerful prayer's effect. Her eyes were on Veraka, the change of his aura made her flinch, as well as the sight of the carnage. Though the aasimar was not her goal right now, her path led toward wounded Lothir at first.

The drowess reached to touch the bard's shoulder, channeling healing energies into his injured frame. It lasted a few brief seconds, but Lothir would feel himself whole afterwards, then the priestess continued quietly, moving to the center of the battlezone, shrugging the spells off as noticeable in arcane sight string of runes floated about her, enhancing her spell resistance. The shockwave from one of the fireballs tore the cowl from the priestess' head, her long hair spilt over her shoulders, a tear sparkled upon her cheek.

Straightening to stand in the midst of the battle, unprotected, she uttered several dark words, creating an aura of fear around her - [i:iatjmte9]Cloak of Fear[/i:iatjmte9], so any enemy, which she failed to blind or stun with previous spells, seeking to come close to her, would be stricken with fear and probably just run away from her. Luexena raised her gloved hands to the sky then, uttering another prayer, ignoring the arrows flying her way, one of them got so very close, whizzing through her long silvery tresses and cutting off a strand. The [i:iatjmte9]Holy Word[/i:iatjmte9] itself was heavy to the ears of the bandits - fortunately none of her non-good companions were within the radius of the deadly prayer - or so she thought -, Lothir and Palax remained unaffected. As the last syllable escaped her, the bandits around were either paralyzed or deafened or blinded or died right away.

Kalannar's blade struck true at the unprepared bandit, whom proceeded to spill his stomach onto the ground before dropping like a sack of potatoes. His throwing dagger, however, much to his surprise was expertly deflected by the bandit he tossed it at whom then returned the attack in kind with one of his own. Kalannar arched off to the side to avoid the blade, but his side still was grazed by the sharpened edge as it passing between his open vest and his skin, cutting through the back of it.

Kalannar however wasn't out of tricks yet. He quickly crouched down and pressed his hands to the grass and a moment later the shadows around the bandit would burst forth(Shadow Daze.) around the man, making him stumble back for a few moments which allow the pirate to sink in two throwing knives in his chest, causing him to crumple as well. Once those two were down, he grinned, proud of himself, and thinking the battle was over. At least, until an arrow whizzed through the air and struck the priate in the shoulder, sinking into his flesh and causing him to let out a howl of pain as he stumbled back in the grass, looking to one of two archers that now stood in front of him.

Quickly he ran for the nearest cover as arrows were sent flying towards him, each one seemingly getting closer and closer to his feet as he ran before he was finally able to leap behind a knocked over table, seeing several arrows poke through the table above his head, several red locks being cut from it. Peering up from behind the table, Kalannar did the first thing that came to his mind, and began tossing anything and everything he could find around on his side of the table at the archers. Wooden plates became spinning discs of bludgeoning pain as they flew through the air at the archers, who only looked even more confused as they easily moved out of the way of them, before returning fire at the pirate, or at least his table, figuring either they'd hit him eventually, or would break the table soon enough.

Of course, the other thing they knew that Kalannar didn't was about the bandit that lurked behind a tree, behind the pirate, who was slowly creeping up to him, sneakily, slowly. Then as the priate stood up to toss stuff once more the bandit quickly grabbed him, wrapping an arm about his throat and wrestling one hand behind his back to his suprise. Kalannar struggled as his airflow was constricted by the strong man, and could see the archers lining up their shots now as he tried his best to wrest free from his captor.

This was also when he saw Luexena weaving a spell he was all too familiar with when a friend of theirs, a paladin named Serrin accidentally killed the pirate when he casted the spell to kill a number of kobolds that were attacking them. Finding pruchase on the edge of the table, kalannar kicked back on it, causing the pirate to tumble backwards, with Kalananr, loosening his grip. When the spell struck, the pirate felt white hot heat enter his eyes, and ears, making the world go white and silent all at once.

For a few moments he laid there dazed, along with the bandit beneath him. Though after a moment he realized where he was once more and quickly drew his dagger and plunged it into the mass of flesh beneath him. He didn't know where he was stabbing but before long the bandit stopped moving and Kalannar's vision began to clear. His hearing still gone, he then peered over and saw the two archers, one of them seemingly frozen in place and the other with his bow on the ground, reaching about. Quickly the pirate would run towards the two, ignoring the pain in his shoulder from the arrow and quickly tossed throwing dagers haphazardly at the paralyzed bandit, causing the man to crumble after a few moments.

However, before he could act to subdue the other archer, they had found their bow and sunk an arrow into the thigh of the pirate, causing him to tumble down to the ground in a heap, the arrow cracking and breaking as he rolled. Letting out a groan. Kalannar clutched the throwing dagger in his hand and whispered a prayer to Tymora, as he lurched up and tossed the blade at the Bandit just as they let loose an arrow at him. He saw the blade sink into the throat of the bandit, bringing him down with a gurgle, and let out a laugh at his luck. At least, until he looked down and saw the arrow feather clad end of one of the arrows sticking out from his abdomen, and then, the world began to slip away as he slowly fell over onto his side, clutching at it.

The bard turned in time to see the two bandits rushing at him, and brought his blades up to block their attacks in what was- for him, to be sure- a rather clumsy defense due to the pain from the magic missiles. Fortunately, he felt Luaxena's hand on his shoulder as she strode into the battlefield, and felt renewed strength as the pain disappeared.

"I thank you, milady! My wife would have been furious if I'd come back to her as a corpse!" He shouts, grinning.

Crowing with joy, he suddenly changed his stance, dropping back a few feet to stand with blades out to either side as if in invitation to the bandits to come on. They took the invitation, only to have him whirl between them as they rushed in, his blades in close, and then snapping back in a swift move that left them both gutted before they even realized it. By the time they looked down, they were already dying.

(OOC: Luaxena, I got a good laugh out of your spelling of Palax's name- Phalax?! Now why does that sound so appropriate?! He IS a bit of a d*ck, but.... LOL!!!)

Palax heard another clang on his breastplate and looked down to see an arrow lying where it had fallen. A second arrow whizzed toward him and thunked into his right thigh, but he ignored it, and rushed toward the archers, calling out a prayer to Sorden that sent gusts of wind to deflect their arrows away from him. As he closed in, he smashed the bow of one with his sword, and slammed his shield into the face of another, with a crunch that surely meant a broken nose or jaw. That bandit fell to the ground unconscious, as he breathed a gout of flames into the face of the one who had wounded him. In seconds, the agonized screams died along with their maker.

Palax turned around, and saw that the one named Kallanar had fallen. Not one to leave an ally wounded, no matter what his personal thoughts about the man- Vala had reminded him of his Code and Oath often enough- he rushed over to aid him, snapping the arrows and pulling them out, before placing his hands over the half-drow in deep prayer. The wounds began to slowly heal, though perhaps not completely. Saving his life was the important thing, the rest could come later. Even his own injuries did not matter as much as doing his duty to protect those who fought beside him.

((A shadow dragon's breath weapon is a cloud of blackness that is 40 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 20 feet high. Creatures caught in the cloud are blinded for one melee round and lose ¾ (round up) of their life energy (levels or Hit Dice); a successful saving throw vs. breath weapon reduces the loss to ½ (round up). The life energy loss persists for a variable number of turns, shown on the table above.
Negative plane protection spells prevent this life energy loss. A character who is reduced to 0 or fewer levels lapses into a coma for the duration of the cloud's effect[/size:33jpizgy]))

the cloud of dark energy struck the bandits that had attempted to swarm her, the power of it going straight to the inner core of them. half fell down, clutching their heads, the lights turned out. one sudden collapsed upon the ground, unmoving. another however, managed to keep upright, tho he was stumbling at her. the wizard released an obscuring mist around her, hoping to cover his movements and his precuring a wand.
Shadowblade swung, striking hte first in range, followed by the one next to him.
aimed at her, the cold ray struck hard as she cut the last of the blinded men. it stopped her in her tracks, as she fought to stay upright. the wizard then began his next spell.
loss of balance, she landed on her butt, Shadowblade falling to the ground beside her. reaching into a pouch, she pulled a wand herself and aimed the dangerous rod.
not caring for the consequences, and hoping they would work in favor [i:33jpizgy]for [/i:33jpizgy]her, she aimed it at him just before he got his spell off.

in place of the wizard was standing a goat covered in the robes of the apprintace.

spell results

Post by veraka »

The battle around the party raged fiercely but only for mere instances, as Inriiaynrae’s and Luexena’s spells dished out their deadly results. Bodies flew in every which direction from Inriia’s fireballs.

The first impacted, blasting a small group of 6 archers around in every which direction, setting three of bandits aflame, their screams and howls of agony piercing the air, while it scattered the other 3, hurling them all in different directions like ragdolls.
The sorceress’s first [i:3vva0bsd]Lightning Bolt[/i:3vva0bsd] caught three of the bandits off guard, crackling in at a deadly arc. One of the bandits managed a shout of surprise as he dived out of the way, the summoned lightning bolt barely missing him. The other two goons weren’t so fortunate, their smoldering corpses a testament to that.

Inriia’s second [i:3vva0bsd]Fireball[/i:3vva0bsd] went wide, arching in for a group of seven, its streaking flames dancing out, looking for bodies to scorch. However, one of the bandits within the group spotted the incoming flame ball of death, and barked out a warning to his comrades. Five of the seven dove to the ground in an attempt to dodge the blast. The fireball detonated a split second later, consuming the two less lucky fools in its licking flames of death.
Her [i:3vva0bsd]Flaming Sphere[/i:3vva0bsd] trailed in behind three fleeing bandits, taking all of them by surprise. The resulting blast scattered their bodies in three separate directions, hurling one into a nearby rock, killing him instantly, the other two caught lucky breaks, getting hurled into a bushes, though thorny ones at that.

The sorceress’s final bolt of supercharged electricity came blazing out from her direction, and burned a path towards the nearest standing bandit; after all lighting followed the path of least resistance. The half-elf bandit fried as the bolt cooked him from the outside and on the inside. The bolt leapt to the next goon in line, charring their skin to near black.

======================

When Luexena spoke her [i:3vva0bsd]Holy Word[/i:3vva0bsd], all of the ten highwaymen within her spell’s forty foot radius clasped their ears, howling out in pain. Three dropped dead outright, their senses and bodies overpowered by the divine spell. Two more of the bandits froze outright, paralyzed from the priestesses spell. The rest of the highwaymen screamed from the deafening of their ears, only to find that their sight was taken from them as well, making them all easy targets.

=====================

Mean while, Inriia’s last two [i:3vva0bsd]Fireballs[/i:3vva0bsd] streaked in, detonating in between a group of about ten of the bandits. The concussive blasts through the men every which way; out of the ten, seven were caught up in the flames of wrath that licked at their skin. However, the outcome made for a slight amusement; in the aftermath of seeing his comrades on fire, on bandit absentmindedly grabs his fellow by the collar and throws his canteen overhead, dumping liquid on the walking inferno. However the man forgot that his drink of choice happened to rum. The resulting fire quickly consumed the liquid, as well as set the would-be savior alight as well.[/color:3vva0bsd]

(pardon the long absence college got in the way)

Zekafae's last sighting in the battle was perhaps the most gruesome, A small group of the bandits were pulled off to the edge of shadows. What followed while hidden deep within the shadows was best not seen, though some probably could see flickers of it from the fires. What carnage his blades didn't do by tearing through flesh all but skinning and flaying them alive. The close range spells finished the job by igniting the remnants of the victims and burned those that were still alive. Which caused them to run into the open ablaze. The scene he left behind though was horrific, as it was strewn over the brush and trees, hanging off branches and everything. Zek stalked out of the woods dragging the burning remains behind him leaving the trail of burning skin and blood. Dropping the body he removed the dagger from their throat, or remnants of and moved to take care of whatever was left.

On authority of the boss:

(somewhere else)
The 4 assassins stopped at the small unsuspecting town. They had been traveling for over 100 miles. Plus, it would give the spell caster of the 4 time to double check on their targets. their magical mounts were secured, no one bothering the group.

They walked into the small tavern, cleverly disguised as humble farmer family. The few inside didn’t bother to look up. and why would they? It was just some peasants. The barkeeper looked up.
Coins paid for a large room, they hurried upstairs. Once inside, traps were set along the door to secure it. the oldest beginning the work. Pouring water into the large basis she began the spell.

====
Whip secure on her hip, the snakes wiggling in excitement of the events. Or more in hopes of tasting flesh. Her heels made no sounds as she walked down the hall. The “packages” were loaded onto a large floating disk. Before stepping into the same room, the cowl of her piwafwi was pulled over her face. Even if it didn’t hide one obvious feature.
“have they made contact?” she asked the male. ((in drow, but it did recognize the word contact.))[/size:3ukddpsy]

He was in equal rank, for the most part. Dressed in magical dragon-hide armor, and tall for his race, he was impressive. Thick built and a thick scar across his face made him intimidating to most. he smirked, his multicolored eyes scanning her less than concealed form. He bowed, more for show than anything.
“jabbress,” raising his head when her gloved arm touched his shoulder, “nind ph'kr'athin.”

The bound and gagged fey’ri only heard voices. The blind on her eyes kept her from seeing, and the spell locks on each finger kept her from any possible spells. At the sound of the foreign language she knew what she was dealing with. The voice, it was somehow familiar. Like a life time ago. But she could not recall it. too worried and anxious over her children and husband to focus. She felt her son squirming again, waking up as the sleep poisons effects nearly spent.
“don’t move,” she whispered, reaching her bound hands to touch his face.
A rod of some sort struck her arms for the action, enlisting a hiss from the mother. the young warrior laughed, preparing to strike again.
“z'lonzic!” the priestess called to her over excited warrior.
Her hand went to the whip showing her seriousness. The warrior paused knowing better. Respectfully bowing and backing away from the two.

The priest whistled for his troupe. “karliik doeb!”
His hand stretched out for her, she took it and stepped up onto the her own floating disk, himself joining her. As an extension of her will, she made it move along with the prisoners.

Luexena looked around slowly, watching the howling enemies, then turned away from them, assumed her companions would 'take care' of them. Her lavender eyes narrowed as she saw Kalannar in blood, upon the ground. The paladin's help came in time and kept the silly pirate alive until the young priestess reached them.

The drow slipped to her knees, pulling the wounded man's head in her lap, her palms wiping the blood from his chest and abdomen, her thin digits prodding the man's torso gently, quickly to locate the wounds. The tiny fingertips were glowing slightly with the healing spell unleashed through her and into Kalannar's injured frame, mending him. Surely Luexena was a perfect target now, knelt in the middle of the battle, her back turned toward the enemies, but Palax was near and she felt safe, knowing the paladin would shield her from any attack.

[i:14bxepz4]Don't you die, dear friend[/i:14bxepz4]... She murmured quietly, the long tresses of hers cascaded down, falling onto the pirate's face, the young woman seemed genuinely concerned. [i:14bxepz4]I will drag you out of the Beyond anyway if needed...[/i:14bxepz4]

Elwyn popped in his reconstructed arm into its socket. The elbow didn't move, but the fingers retained much of their original dexterity. He looked around the decimated battlefield. Gurguch had stayed by his side, and so his contribution had been minor, but he hardly cared. He had already found something of interest. Looking around for the body of the man who had all but destroyed his arm, Elwyn raised both hands. Under the cloth, a wicked grin creased his face, and his eyes sparkled with malicious glee.

The wires appeared out of his fingers again, and began to make small incisions on the dead man's stomach and head, removing the organs stored therein. Next, using some iron from his gourd to fill the body's cavities with sand. Lastly using his electricity he caused the iron the heat up, effectively dried out the body, thereby allowing it to be stored for later use.

Pulling out a scroll, he made the body vanish. His work done, Elwyn turned to survey the battlefield at large.
A fight need not end with the death of participant. A fight also ends when the desire to do violence is gone.

The ranger not one to idly stand by moved into the rest of the fun battles. Kicking one of them in the head it was a loud sickening crack which was only added by the scene of his foot bringing the body down and a second loud crack of the neck being snapped instantly severing the spine from the brain. The old assassination skills showing through quite well at this point. Sheathing one of his daggers he went to enjoy fully employing more deadly skills. Parrying a strike he disarmed the man and extended the arm out straight all but dislocating it before plunging the blade into the underarm, right into the lung and heart. Pulling the blade out he dropped the man while continuing on. Quicking ducking down he tossed a man over his shoulder causing. This normally let them land on their back but this one was quick enough to land on the feet. This was met by him spinning around the two meeting only briefly face to face. Zek placed his palm over the man's face and squeezed slowly pushing him back. All in this he muttered a quick incantation as fire erupted from his hand The flames not going until the man was nothing but a charred skeleton. Taking the skull he punted it hard at another more for a distraction but a macabre reminder that attacking this group was a bad idea.

The disturbing thing was, he was enjoying this... a bit too much as he had a smile which was rare for him.
