"I don't fancy just sitting around while people are being blown to tiny pieces around me, Captain." Drakin said, adding his own thoughts on the situation, "I also don't like waiting for the enemy to come and try to kill me. I much prefer to find them in a shadowy hallway and do what I do best. Kill them before they know I there."

Captain Witmor looked first to Zarae as she spoke up in Onix's defense, followed by Lothir's comment.

"Yes, I am all too aware of the predicament that Theta Squad and you all were in; however, protocol and discipline must be held to code. I [b:17plymfv]do[/b:17plymfv] appreciate the help that you all gave the Theta's during our battle, both out of and in the [i:17plymfv]Nighthammer[/i:17plymfv]. Master Gunnery Sergeant [b:17plymfv]did[/b:17plymfv] actually make the correct call during battle, but not all decisions are that easy to overlook. As the Captain of this ship, I must keep order and discipline aboard this vessel and. . . . " Captain Witmor never finished his sentence as Pyro spoke up.

"Oh, give it a rest, Jolly Rodger; we all know that you have to go through all the formal, captain-esk bullshit. Why not just save us all the head-ache of the intros and get right to the jist, ehh?"

From all of the dumbfounded expression that Pyro got, both from the Torilians, and from his own squad mates, told him that they [b:17plymfv]all[/b:17plymfv] weren't expecting that from him, especially Onix and Lothir.

Stalker straightened up at once and spoke up to Witmor.
"Sir, permission to speak freely."

Witmor nodded, "Granted."

With that, the sniper's OMNI armor turned blood-red as he engaged Max Strength.

"Uh-ohhh," mutered Pyro a second before Stalker whapped him across the head with the all-too-well-known 'Gibbs Smite'. The resulting 'WHUMP' reverberated throughout the bridge, and left Pyro rubbing the back of his helmet.

"Ouch," the clone said in a melancholy tone. The rest of the squad chuckled lowly at their brothers unfortunate thunk across the helmet. When Pyro was done with his joking, Captain Witmor brought his attention back to the group, a smile underneath his fine trimmed mustache.

"And Pyro has the short of it; I really don't give a flying fuck about protocols and procedure one way or the other. Too much hassle for too little. Anywho, that is that, and all of you have questions, I'm assuming, yes?" he asked towards the group of Toril natives.

The bard caught the looks from Lynx and Ryltar, and started to say something, but decided it could wait. Instead, he looked to the captain, and asked. "Actually, I think I've got some things in my head that came out of your ship's data banks. I MIGHT have been a bit careless with the wording of that wish. I wonder if I could look at some of your star charts? And perhaps a topographical map and a composition chart of the area we came from on the surface. It might help us narrow down the part of the Underdark to start looking for those eggs. The star charts are for my own private quest."

Ryltar just watched in eerie silence as the captain whacked Pyro upside the head and then the others burst into laughter. He shook his head, the lack of discipline annoying him to a small degree. Still, this was better than him being flushed out an airlock with Lynx. [i:1d1rq1yk]"These clones.. Are strange creatures. Aren't they?"[/i:1d1rq1yk] [/color:1d1rq1yk]He communicated, mentally to Lynx

Captain Witmor nodded to the group standing before him, each in turn, then spoke up; "if that is all that any of you have to ask, then might I suggest that you all get some rest, you all look like you could use it." The Captain turned to regard Onix and the Theta's; "that includes you too, Theta Squad. I know that you clones are built to be the toughest sons-a-bitches out there, but even [b:86x505ia]you[/b:86x505ia] aren't indestructible; and with this new mission coming up, I want you all to be at your peak performance during it. That being said, Theta Squad is required to rest bare minimum four hours."

"Yes Sir!" the Theta's replied in unison.

Witmor then turned back to the Lothir, Zarae, and the others.
"You are all welcome to follow them around, or take leave to do as you wish on the ship. The science teams informed me shortly ago that they are still trying to isolate a few genetic issues with the dead Leecher queen that you all assisted in killing. I expect that it will be another six to eight hours before they have any real viable data for the team. As for each of your questions, I will leave them to Theta Leader to assist you each with."

He turned back to Onix and the Thetas; "Theta Squad, see to it that your guests are not left unaided aboard. Dismissed!" He said with a salute.

Onix and his squad returned the salute in perfect form, five armored hands coming up to their respective foreheads simultaneously. Then Onix turned to the group and said, "well, that being taken care of, the squad and I are gonna disperse, first to take care of all of your needs or questions, and then to catch some shut-eye."

"Lothir, I can take you to get you those star charts that you asked for, as well as to our data centers on the ship. The map that you asked for should be easy, but I think I got a better idea for a map," said Pyro, waving the bard to come along.

Edge turned towards Onix and said "Sir, Lynx has asked me to show her the technical details of a few things behind our tech; respectfully, I ask to be allowed to show her these specs and details."

"Granted," Onix replied, nodding his head as well. He then turned towards Ironside, and pointed an armored glove towards Zana and Vlad; "Ironside, take Zana and her furry friend to the armory; the last thing that we need is a 500 pound tiger getting antsy."

Ironside nodded, and then bade Zana and Vlad to follow him.

"If anyone wants to join me, I'm gonna head down to the bar," Stalker put in just before turning about and heading back towards the lifts, though he was pretty sure that Drakin and his crazy imp would follow.

"Maryne, Scar, Zarae, I'll show you both to some adequate sleeping quarters," Onix finally said to the two, turning about as he did so, and heading after his dispersing squad.

She looked over to Lothir and then nodded to the clone with the other two. some time to just sit an relax and figure things out, and of course change and fix her shirt would be nice. the hole in the shirt showed her abdomen as being soaked in her own blood was now depressing for her and reminder of what she went through.

Lothir listens to the Captain, and finally sighs in relief at having a chance to rest, though he doubts he will do much of that. He turns at Pyro's suggestion, and nods. "Sure, Pyro. Lead on." He follows behind, though slowly, looking somewhat fatigued.

"I believe I'll join you," Drakin said to Stalker.

Grisnaw smiled and said, "I think I'll follow that big fluff ball and his friend to the weapons. I could always use a few more of those grenades."

"Just don't blow up the ship," Drakin sighed knowing it was futile to argue when the gargoyle had weapons on his mind, "You saw what happened to the enemy when they were sucked into the emptiness of space. If that happens, I swear I'll kill you in whatever afterlife we go to."

Grisnaw just waved his hand good in a 'don't worry' gesture and left with the group Ironside was taking.

Lynx bobbed her head quickly, agreeing with Ryltar, her eyes still locked on the clones. Her fingers running across the keyboard of the laptop she kept dragging along, her expression remained focused. Then she finally hit a key. [i:32f7zh3n]"Voice emulation enabled"[/i:32f7zh3n] a mechanical voice uttered, the sound coming from her laptop which she just reprogrammed. The elf beamed, quickly adjusting the volume settings so the digital voice sounded closer to her own. [i:32f7zh3n]"I can talk now."[/i:32f7zh3n] She announced then through her laptop, before looking to Edge and winking to him. [i:32f7zh3n]"We're ready to follow you".[/i:32f7zh3n] [i:32f7zh3n]Woohoo they can hear me now, Ryltar![/color:32f7zh3n][/i:32f7zh3n] A happy thought was sent to the drow wizard.

Now that he had finally been reunited with Lynx, for what felt like had been too long of a time, the drow wasn't about to leave her. Oh no. Especially not with that Edge fellow. The drow wasn't going to trust him alone with the woman whom had captured his heart. Not at all! Hearing Lynx profess their readiness to follow made him gleeful, though he remained stoic on the outside. [i:3cnlv3so]"Indeed we are. "[/i:3cnlv3so] He remarked, smiling widely at Lynx and her ingenious way to make it so she could communicate with the others. [i:3cnlv3so]"You are a genius, my dear, your intelligence, is only rivaled by your beauty."[/i:3cnlv3so]

[i:2ahnw960]Finally!![/i:2ahnw960] Vlad exclaimed, hurting Zana's head.

"Just a little excited, are we?" Zana sneered with her typical sarcasm. She hated it when Vlad yelled in his mind, it always gave her a headache.

She followed Ironsides. "Perhaps I can start training with this weapon," she thought out loud, eager to use a new sniping weapon. Bows were good, but this was better, so much easier to aim, and trajectory wasn't nearly as much of a factor.

[i:2ahnw960]Why is that little imp following us,[/i:2ahnw960] Vlad growled in agitation as he noticed the gargoyle following them.

"Play nicely, kitty," Zana teased, pissing off the tiger even more. She knew he was getting antsy due to the armor, but she couldn't help messing with him even more. If he did anything outrageously stupid, she'd see to it that he'd get what's coming to him.

As each of the clones of Theta Squad left to do their assigned tasks, They all choose separate routes to take to their intended destinations.

Pyro decided to say 'fierfek it' and led Lothir down a narrow corridor that branched off from the bridge, leading to a stairwell that went down for almost 200 steep steps in one direction, then reversed direction, and went down another flight of 200 steps, and so on and so forth.

Pyro looked to Lothir and grinned, almost like a maniacal madman; "last one to the bottom eats an egg," he said, and then quickly launched himself onto the railing, both armored boots balancing out to where the demolitionist simply slide down the railing.

"WOOOHHHOOOOO!" came Pyro's excited hoot as he zoomed down the railing, armor and all, jumped up when he neared the bottom, landing the on the wall, and holding there for a moment like a gecko, and then jumping off, and onto the reverse, descending railing, racing to the bottom.

"Come on, slow-poke; let's see you're mouth back up those words about speed and haste that you seem to pride yourself in," came the echo of Pyro's voice to the bard.

=================

Edge was a little more straight forward with his chosen route, instead simply opting to take the lift down to the IT room of the ship, which included the [i:t0d590ba]Nighthammer's[/i:t0d590ba] AI cores.

As the clone was walking to the lifts, a mechanical voice, very akin to Lynx's spoke up and caught his attention. Whirling around, he then spotted the source of the voice; the labtop that Lynx had brought along.

The clone noted the pride that seemed to be beaming off of Ryltar towards the young magess; "She has any more tricks up her sleeve like that, and I might have to retire," Edge chuckled to himself as the lift opened with a soft 'bing'. The doors hissed open, and Edge made his way in, waving Lynx and Ryltar to hop in, followed swiftly by Onix and his group, Zarae, Scar, and Maryne, all of whom seemed to be a tad interested in a little R&R.

Onix depressed a button, which was marked L210, and the lift doors hissed closed, as it accelerated downward towards its intended stop.

A second later, the lift halted, and Onix stepped out, waving his three friends forward to follow him.
"Catch ya later, Edge.," came Onix's voice right before the doors closed, and the lift continued its course towards the IT lounge.

====================

When Onix stepped out of the turbolift, and waved Zarae, Scar, and Maryne forward, he noticed that Zarae still had a bloodstain on her clothes from when she had taken that hit that'd killed her, so to speak.
"Ya know, we [b:t0d590ba]really[/b:t0d590ba] should get those washed up, Zarae," he said, then snapped two gloved fingers together; "I got it. Come on, I'll show you something that will make you wish you lived here," the clone chuckled to Zarae.
Taking several twisting corridors to get to his intended destination, Onix finally arrived at a crew sleeping quarter, one of many throughout the ship.
"Feel free to make yourselves at home for the time-being," Onix gestured towards the beds, which more than likely, looked like nothing any of the three had ever seen on Toril.

"And Zarae, for you," the clone leader waved the drowess over to the washroom of the area; inside it were two doorways that branched off into two areas; one led to the lavatory, and the other led down to, what would seem like, a luxury-style 'Relaxation Chamber' as the clones had dubbed it, from the sign that was hanging overhead.
"You'll find the relaxation chamber something of a thrill, or at least I would assume you would. If you've never heard of a 'shower', you'll love it; and now to get your clothes washed up. " the clone grinned slightly to Zarae.

Onix pressed a white button on a console that was right outside the doorway to the rec chamber, which opened up a new room, which had a series of machines in it. Each one had twin opening doors on the front of it.
"Alright, layman's terms; to remove that little blood splotch of yours, select 'heavy cycle' for 90 minutes, add that," Onix pointed towards a box labeled 'Hyper-oxidizing nano scrubbers', "and then, go ahead and make yourself at home; if ya need anything, I'll be in the main room going over the mission logs." With that said, Onix trouped back down the hallway, hung the corner, and disappeared from view back where the main resting area was.

HA! You ASKED for it!" the drow replies, and simply steps off the side, plummeting down the entire length of the stairwell in free-fall, letting his natural levitation activate just a few feet from the bottom to avoid a messy splat. He sets down with an almost inaudibly soft step as he lands. "You were saying?" he asks, looking up from the bottom at Pyro with a grin that would make a Cheshire cat jealous.

Pyro continued to slide down the stair well railings, despite the fact that Lothir had beat him to the bottom; with a grunt, the clone leaped onto the wall and leaped over the ledge of the third level to the bottom. He landed with a 'CLANG!' his heavy armor reverberating the majority of the sound.

Though the bard was smart, and more than a little devious at times, Pyro still maintained his grin, as he reached into his belt pouch and produced a golden, tin-foil wrapped egg, with the words, 'Caramel-core' inscribed on it.
"Alright, smart ass;" Pyro said, grinning, unwrapping the egg, revealing it to be a chocolate wrapped morsel; "[b:2npxnzmt]my[/b:2npxnzmt] egg," and with that said, popped it into his mouth, munching on it slowly. The look that the he got was priceless, at least to the clone, it was.

===========================

Stalker walked alongside Drakin back to the tavern.
"Alright, assassin; first rounds are on me," the sniper said to the half-drow; "Up to four drinks; I'm not a fierfekkin bank."

===========================

Ironside rode the lift back down to the armory, where he could get the crazed cat outta his exo-armor, and help Zana get some time in on that rifle of hers.

"Alright, big cat, come over here," the heavy weaps specialist told Vlad, indicating a spot akin to where Onix had given him the exo-armor.

When Vlad decided to pad on over to the spot Ironside had indicated, he'd start up the machine to remove the tiger's exo-armor.
"I would recommend remaining still while this is going on, otherwise, we'll have to start over again," came the clone's voice to Vlad, as he keyed in a sequence over at the terminal which controlled the mechanism.
