[i:1ea3dhqq]First we should figure out which spells to use, Ryltar.[/i:1ea3dhqq] The elf replied softly, still caught up in that dreamy state of mind, her teal eyes were sparkling. [i:1ea3dhqq]But by the Three and the One... This sight is breathtaking.[/i:1ea3dhqq] Again she peered into the window, before forcing herself to look away and focus on their task as she gazed between the people.

Pyro, not sure what to think of Zarae at the moment, nodded at her; "hmmm, well, whatever 'transistive planes are, I'm afraid that's where you lose me, I know only real-space, and hyperspace, well, along with a planets ground."

The explosives guru had to smirk at the drowesses comment; "oh, so what your telling me is that your training involves the near two decades of martial grueling and toughening up that we went through? If that is true, then my hat's off to you, Zarae," the clone said with a light bow.
Then Pyro added in a low tone; "so, if you're the less-honorable' type can I faithfully assume that you're the type who loves a good practical joke here and there," he returned her wink with one of his own, for Pyro was the spirit of the squad, keeping everyone's moral up, but along with that charismatic attitude came a mischievous side that always got the better of him from time to time.

Onix looked at Lynx, noting her appreciation for the technology and raw power that went into building one of the [i:2w22n3fd]Depraedor[/i:2w22n3fd] assault-carriers.
"I'm glad you like it, that ship took as the same amount of time as it took to train all of me and my brothers to build. Can you imagine a fleet of sixty maybe more ships , smaller than this, led by five assault-carriers like the [i:2w22n3fd]Nighthammer[/i:2w22n3fd]?" he asked, enjoying the image that he saw only once in his lifetime, but it was beautiful.

However, before Lynx could reply to his inquiry, the clone overheard Lothirs little speech and had to agree with the bard.
"Lothir's got a point; if you all are willing, and I pray to whatever supernatural powers that you all are, then my squad and I are with you 150 percent of the way, after all, this is our problem, so we're gonna find a solution. I need not remind all of you what the [i:2w22n3fd]Nighthammer[/i:2w22n3fd] did to that army that was approaching us back on the ground. If anyone here wishes to see that for Toril's surface, then all you need do is say that you want out, for that is what will be the end result if we fail in this mission. I've seen it only happen once in my life, but once an infestation spreads too far, a [i:2w22n3fd]Depraedor[/i:2w22n3fd] is called in and unleashes a full-salvo orbital bombardment upon the planet in question. We leave nothing to chance."
Onix's tone and facial expression said that he meant every word he said and more.
Turning to regard Lynx again, Onix spoke up; "when we get on-board I'll take you and whoever else needs supplies to the storage facilities on the ship, and we'll get you well stocked up."

Ryltar smirked a bit, wondering just how a shop keeper might react to his and Lynx;s inquiries for strange and exotic components. As she looked out the window, the drow would step up behind her, wrapping his arms about her, just looking outside of it with her. [i:3thm65we]We'll need elemental spells. As I recall. And of course, Lynx and I are in, all the way.[/i:3thm65we]

Onix looked about to Ryltar and Lynx, grinning.
"A map, well yes, but in an odd sense; you see, most of us have lived on this ship long enough to memorize the entire layout ourselves, so we sorta know where everything is; I'll personally take you two to storage area, besides I need to give our overly ambitious Lynx here a tour, which I'm sure you'd like as well?" the clone grinned at Ryltar.

Turning back to his squad, Onix looked to Edge and said "Edge, I need you to go to the captain and give him a complete briefing of what we're up against here and our plan of attack for the Leecher's eggs."
"Understood," the clone replied, strapping his helmet to his belt, and going about compiling the data from their recent encounter.

"Ironside, head down to the armory and requisistion some weapons and armor for our guests; something tells me that they're gonna need it; also make double sure to grab some extra ammunition for us as well."

"Got is, Sir," the heavy weapons expert replied.

"Stalker, and Pyro, take our guests to round and find some ample relaxing quarters for them, I don't plan on being on-board for long, maybe twelve hours tops."

"Affirmative."
"You got it, sir."

"Hawk, how much time till we're in the hanger?" Onix asked the pilot.

"Not much further, I'd say about another two clicks and we're there," replied the pilot. The [i:19x08jwq]Nighthammer[/i:19x08jwq] had grown huge in the view-ports now, as the gunship approached the hanger that it was designated for with its fighter escort. The guns looked even more intimidating than at first glance at a long distance away. The hanger was shielded up ahead of the gunship.

When the zero G got turned off, Zana fell to the floor with on knee up and one on the floor with a hand out in front to stabilize her. To her surprise, Vlad successfully made it onto the floor without too much incident. [i:141rrpju]No gravity is fun![/i:141rrpju] Vlad said, [i:141rrpju]we should do that again![/i:141rrpju]

[i:141rrpju]You, of all creatures, want to do that again?[/i:141rrpju] Zana said, surprised. She turned and looked out of a view port and the air was taken by what she saw. The [i:141rrpju]Nighthammer[/i:141rrpju] filled her entire view and it looked like it went on for miles. "Oh my...wow. Look at that Vlad," she said softly, amazed at the size of the [i:141rrpju]Nighthammer.[/i:141rrpju] "I didn't know things this size could exist. Just imagine all of the materials one would need to create something of this magnitude," she said to no one in particular.

[i:141rrpju]I'll admit, that is impressive[/i:141rrpju], Vlad said, nodding his head in approval.

"I think I'd like to go on that tour with you, as well," pipes up the bard. "I'd also like to see the star charts you have, if possible. At least the ones that show THIS galaxy. I'd like to see if I can find my own world, you see. Just in case there's a chance i could go back."

He has every intention of staying, but still desperately wants to find out if there is a way back, if only to learn whether Vala and her brother are still alive. He would never admit it openly, but he feels a pang of loneliness, having only recently found love only to lose it again by being stranded on a new and unfamiliar world, even though he feels more at home on this one than on his own.
By the Dark Maiden''s grace do we meet. May she guide and protect us.

[quote:jwsd83zk]oh, so what your telling me is that your training involves the near two decades of martial grueling and toughening up that we went through? [/quote:jwsd83zk]
"yes I would call it that; training with the weapon master before I was to head off to the academy. those years also include for females training to be a priestess for the spider queen."

[quote:jwsd83zk]"so, if you're the less-honorable' type can I faithfully assume that you're the type who loves a good practical joke here and there,"[/quote:jwsd83zk]
"I guess everyone will haveta wait and see."

she walked back over to the group in discussion of tour, something she definately would be involved in.

Onix looked to Zana, and spoke up; "even I'm not sure how much raw resources went into making this ship, but suffice to say that it's a lot more than even I could imagine."

[quote:3me927i4]"I'd also like to see the star charts you have, if possible. At least the ones that show THIS galaxy. I'd like to see if I can find my own world, you see. Just in case there's a chance i could go back."[/quote:3me927i4]

"I'm not sure if we even [b:3me927i4]have[/b:3me927i4] star-maps of this galaxy but I'll look into it for ya once we dock."

Onix added Lothir's request to his already big to-do list.

Pyro snickered at Zarae's comment of finding out about her 'less-honorable' ways and made his way over to the rest of his squad, double-checking his weapons and sidearm.

"Theta lead, I'm getting a transmission from the battery just up ahead of us; you got a clearance code?" Hawk asked, a slight tremeble is his voice.

"Yup, patch me through," the clone replied. The pilot could be heard letting out his breath and then Onix's comm crackled to life; "This is gunnery station 12-Beta, incoming gunship, identify yourself."

"This is Theta Squad leader 180, 501st[/size:3me927i4] Hunters Battalion, recently returning from scouting mission to the planet Toril, authorization Kai-Gamma-Rho-247, over." Onix replied with calm preparedness.

"Welcoming back Theta lead, you sure are making a name for yourself around here now; ok, clearance granted, lowering energy field. You are clear for landing, over and out."

"Nice one there, Theta lead; I thought we were in trouble." Hawk replied before cutting the personal comm.

"Well, ladies and gent, before we land in the hanger bay, any questions?" The clone asked everyone around him.

[i:15p09eye]Mmm... Sixty[/i:15p09eye]. The elf murmured, closing her eyes for a moment and trying to 'imagine' that. [i:15p09eye]Now that is something I'd love to see someday. But... overly ambitious?[/i:15p09eye] Lynx grinned then, amused. [i:15p09eye]Since when a plan of taking over the world is 'overly ambitious'?[/i:15p09eye] The girl chuckled and shook her head. [i:15p09eye]The thirst of knowledge multiplied by the wanderlust... Mmm.[/i:15p09eye] She brought her hand up, pushing the loose strands of hair behind her pointed ears, feeling herself rather comfortable in Ryltar's embrace. [i:15p09eye]Becoming the gatecrasher is not unheard of and not unachievable, even if rather risky.[/i:15p09eye]

[i:15p09eye]We already visited Broken Reach once. And in Arabel, there was the place... Called the 'World's serpent inn'... It was a door to the Astral Plane.[/i:15p09eye] She kept musing, hushing finally, Ryltar could feel her rolling her left shoulder a little. Surely the memories of those several hours spent in Abyss filled her mind now and he could guess she was thinking about the tattoo he made her there, one upon her left shoulderblade. The tattoo that linked their lifeforces together.

Onix' question made her snap out of her thoughts and she gazed up at him, grinning. [i:15p09eye]Only one question there, friend. What are we waiting for?[/i:15p09eye]

Ryltar quietly listened to Lynx as she mused about her desires as well. Did she really want to conquer a planet now? He thought this to himself and chuckled quietly as he brought his lips down to her shoulder, kissing it softly. His own thoughts traveled back to their time in the Abyss, to that same night he made the tattoo for her where she had confessed her love for him. Though he didn't wish to admit it then, he knew he was indeed falling for her, and likely already had.[i:2ncem9tm] Indeed, let us depart so we can get our supplies. I should get some scales for that Kobold spell. It may come in handy down in the Night Below.[/i:2ncem9tm]

Clearly her words were a mere jest, she seemed to be in a rather good mood, anticipating the landing and the chance to actually stroll about in that maginicent spaceship. The wizardess was growing more and more anxious with each second, just glancing between the people, impatiently.

Scar went back into his silent state, and just paced in a circle for a while. He didn't seem the least bit interested in the view or the large ship that they were headed too.

[quote:1tihutml]"Lothir's got a point; if you all are willing, and I pray to whatever supernatural powers that you all are, then my squad and I are with you 150 percent of the way, after all, this is our problem, so we're gonna find a solution. When Onix had said this it had gotten Scar's attention. He stopped pacing and stood there staring at the Clone. He pointed down at the ground and then sat down cross legged with his arms folded about his chest.

"I stay, and I help." He said to the Clone

((double checking? would the rogue do anything...ok dont answer that. and b/c u mentioned it, have pyro notice something missing later?))

the rogue had a million question, but not any she was gunna vocalize. the rogue pocketed the item discretely as she waited to board the other ship. she just wanted to test this group. fancy weapons could get ruined...it would be to everyone's advantage to evaluate them.
and old habits were hard to pass up.

Zanathie waited anxiously to board the mother ship. She really wanted to see all of the weapons and what-not that was on the [i:3u6zdhvw]Nighthammer.[/i:3u6zdhvw] She was growing slightly impatient and started twirling a strand of her long hair.

[i:3u6zdhvw]Would you stop doing that? [/i:3u6zdhvw]Vlad said, annoyed.

[i:3u6zdhvw]Habit. I want to see this ship. Enough waiting. You know I have know patience and I've been patient for quite a while now.[/i:3u6zdhvw]

[i:3u6zdhvw]That's your problem,[/i:3u6zdhvw] Vlad rolled his eyes.

Drakashin just looked at the ship, already accepting that everything with the clones would be impressive. "I'm going to need to find the tavern when we get on board," was all he said.

"Bah," Grisnaw said to him with a causal wave of his hand, "You've got no sense of adventure, I want to know where the firepower is at." As he said this he rubbed his hands together with and evil grin on his face.
