From the slave pens to the house of Lillith:

The five men follow her out, each looking about and recording things in their minds. Some of them gasp at the different sites, at some times in wonder, in others in a tone of loathing at the disgusting way things are done. One among them though looks at it all through eyes that have seen the same before, just in the light of day. Braddok walks along impassively, staying at the front of the group of his friends and the ones that they were gaurding. He looks to one of the elfmaids and smiles a bit sadly, saying witha sorrowful in his eyes and on his face how sorry he is that she will have to endure this torment.

As they reach the house and see how well gaurded it is, the idea of flight slips from the barbarians mind and a great sigh escapes him. Forlornly he follows the lady through the house to the barracks that will be his and the others quarters from now on, bowing politely to the woman as she prepares to leave them. [i:1ht1ohza][b:1ht1ohza]I'm sorry lady, for what I said to your gaurd back there. I never meant to threaten him in any way.[/b:1ht1ohza][/i:1ht1ohza] Rising from his bow, he walks with a slump to his shoulders that says he's admitting defeat.[/color:1ht1ohza]

From the slave pens to the House of Lillith:

The others watch the change in the big man as they go through the gates of their new home, but none more closely than Rade. The half drow has never seen his big friend like this, it's almost as if the man has lost the will to live now that he finds himself back in captivity.

Hearing Braddok apologize to a woman that they all know he hates, no matter what her promises are, just because of her occupation, he nearly faints. Catching himself before he falls, he follows the big man quickly into the room, trying to find out what's wrong with him. All he gets from Braddok is a blank stare, one that says his friend has accepted what fate has decided to deal him, and will not fight it.

The others gather around him as well, watching something they thought they'd never see in their lives as tears fall from Braddoks' eyes as he weeps openly.[/color:u1b3ea34]

Lilith watches from the open door as the big man weeps. She motions the females into the next door, after she opens it and shuts it gently behind them as they enter.
"Why do you weep, large male? I assure you it, things are not so bad as you would make of them.I would ask that the two of you.."
She points to the half drow and to the weeping man,
"Join me later for dinner.I assure you, I mean you no harm.Whenever anyone new enters my service I make time to speak with them in order to determine their skills.I have much work to do, but I shall speak with you all later."
She turns then to leave, shutting the door softly behind her and heading down the hall where her guards have the durguar slave waiting.
"We take this one to the matron now."
She says to them, as she turns to go up the stairs a drow woman is coming down.
"My lady,"
She says to Lilith,
"Shall I be preparing the torture room for the breaking in of the new slaves?"
"No, Kalindra, these ones shall require a special touch.Bring my potions into my chamber and lay out my finest gown. I will require these ones to be some of my most loyal slaves for the tasks at hand."
Kalindra laughs,
"We do not call you [i:2er8t7p5]Jabbress d'ssinssrigg[/i:2er8t7p5] for nothing, Lady."
She simply smiles and , with her guards leaves her home heading for Matron Keeshe's home.

The male barracks in Lilliths home:

As soon as the door shuts behing Lillith, Braddok looks at the door with a sneer on his face, and a snort escaping from his too. He stands to his full height, towering over most in the room, his large presence being made known by his sheer physical mass not to mention the menacing feeling he's giving off.

He paces back and forth for a moment then looks to his friends, speaking to them in a handcode that they developed for secrecy, something foreign to everyone but the five of them. [i:i3t5u8up]The fool woman thinks I weep because of the situation, when I really weep for waht I must do and the people I must kill to be free once more.[/i:i3t5u8up] He shakes his head and looks around the room, taking note of all the faithful people that she has. [i:i3t5u8up]This is the only problem I see with it though, These people are either under some sort of spell, which she will probably try to use on us tonight, or she has them under control with some sort of potion.[/i:i3t5u8up]

Shaking his head, he walks away from the rest trying to think his way thruough this, knowing that they have no choice but to meet her for dinner tonight or more than likely be killed for refusal.[/color:i3t5u8up]

The male barracks in Lilliths' house:

All his friends shake their heads at seeing the rapid change, and knowing what he intends to do. The all flash things at him in their code like[i:1gqekqpg] Don't be a fool man[/i:1gqekqpg] or [i:1gqekqpg]Use your head for something besides pounding against stone[/i:1gqekqpg]. All but one of his friends that is. Rade the half drow quite a grees with his big friend about it all.

In the handcode he signals to the others while Braddok is pacing and thinking. [i:1gqekqpg]Stop all this infernal arguing. We all know he's right. She's got to be using something to keep her people this loyal, and if she uses it on us, we'll be worse than slaves. We'll be some kind of unthinking mosters doing the bidding of somekind of evil witch.[/i:1gqekqpg] The others eyes all look between Rade and Braddok, then they go apart for a bit to confer between them.[/color:1gqekqpg]

The male barracks of Lilliths' house:

The other three walk off for a bit to confer amongst themselves in the hand code, leaving Braddok to his thinking and Rade to his glowering. after about ten minutes they all reluctantly nod and walk back over to Rade. Silvanus, the half moon-elf speaks for them in the hand code. [i:2jnsx1ic]We know that you and Braddok are right, but how are we gonna fight our way out of here? I can't see anyway of doing that without starting a general revolution of all the slaves.[/i:2jnsx1ic]

Having turned just at the time that Silvanus was making his statement about the revolution, Braddok lets out a deep booming laugh, making the guards outside think he may have gone crazy. Silvanus jumps as do all the rest of the people in the room, staring right at the big man, wondering if he's trying to get them killed now instead of later.[/color:2jnsx1ic]

[b:32v27b13]In the male barracks at Lilith's house[/b:32v27b13]
One of the guards whacks the door with something hard and says,
"Tone it down in there, or we will give you something to laugh about."
Then you hear his footsteps as he walks away.

Lilith continues down the street with her guards and the duergar slave, stopping at Matron Keeshes home and knocking upon the door.

Silaqui watchs for the right moment as her fotces start the attack on the doors on House Del'armgo seeking to open the doors for the other Houses troops. Letting them have the honor to sack and kill. Only a few of her own troops enter the compound. Working with her Daughters proclaims.

"All praise Lolth"

The portal her daugthers were working on to the abyses opens, and with her adding her own magic, expands in the middle of the compound of House Del'armgo seeking not only to take the lives of all within the compound, but the very compound itself. The buildings above guound level and every item, be it gem, weapon or even food.

"House Del'armgo is banished to our mother. Where they shall serve her pleasure"

Releaseing the amulet smiles to the other still gather Nobles, a [i:19g152a1]Wish[/i:19g152a1] used to good effect that looks as if a [i:19g152a1]Miracle[/i:19g152a1] granted by Lolth. Niether the 1st or 2nd House shall gain from this attack today. The boy not likely to live long either. Of course there is still the matter of her own duaghters, the display should dampen their desire to become Matron of House Mei'gal. There should be more time for them to either attack each other or give them another option.

*Matron Mother Maya, wathches the scene, with her doughters. She was doing her best to sustain a smile, and claping. Her doughters were looking rather intimidated by the scene. She aproached them both, and contiuned in a low and calm tone*

- Now do you understand why it's important to kill *EVERY* noble we find? If it ever happens that we fail to complitely destroy a house, and either of you is responsible for it, I'm going to sell you on the open market in the Abyss.
*her doughters blinked and swalloved*
But don't worry *MAya continued* I'm considering of selling you on the open market in the Nine HElls, or eaven Carceri and Limbo, so you don't have to worry so soon...

Venn smiles to himself from the shadows on the roof, Silaqui's actions mean that his will go completely unnoticed by the the council of the matrons. He watches as a few shadowy figures escape from the back of the compund before it collapses into the Abyss. Something for him to look into later perhaps?

Seeing as the proceedings are officially over he hurries over to rooftops to Chian's quarters and enters by a window. He goes over the days events, several hundreds of thousands of gold pieces in various bonds and treaties were now in Chiana's hands along with countless valauble artifacts and a dangerously ambitious house loyal to Lolth has been crushed. he offers up a small prayer to the Dark Maiden and kneels in meditation on the rug after removing his equipment to a cupboard reserved for him in Chiana's rooms. Going over the days events he is pleased, not only did he severely sabotage House Del'Armgo's ability to fight back but he managed to discretely hide a few slaves from the doomed house in the slums of Tethlyrr to later escort to the surface.

He remained in the room and awaited Chiana's return.

Matron Chiana stands watching the spectacle to its completion. At the consumation of the destruction she is guided by a pair of male Drow soldiers up to a blue floating disk and is swept away to her House.

[b:1z6ovl83]~House 1, Matron Chiana's Antiroom~[/b:1z6ovl83]

With the appearance of female body builders, a pair of of large, muscular priestesses with smug expressions on their faces suddenly enter the room and stand on either side of the door. The slender Danifae enters between them. Her crimson eyes send a heated glare across the room to the male. She steps forward with her hand on the adamatine handle of her whip. Clearly disgusted with the simple task at hand given her, she snarles,

[b:1z6ovl83]"Ilharess Chiana orn kyorl dos nin!"
(Matron Chiana will see you now!)[/b:1z6ovl83]

They surround Venn as he leaves the room, keeping a cautious and steady eye on the assassin until they reach the entrance at the end of the hallway. The massive doors of the antiroom swing open of their own accord and slam shut behind him, the sound of locks click together loudly.

There is a brief silence. A sickly sweet scent ascends Venn's nostrils.

Normaly Matron Chiana would be sitting, perched atop her black velvet throne. This day she is standing with Venn face to face, her eyes violet and warm lock with Venn's. Chiana's appearance is becoming and her countenance inviting, perhaps it is because of the strange red smoke that lingers in the room. Venn may notice there is no one else in the room, kind of unusual for a Matron whose life is in danger.

A male Drow from one of the other Houses on the Ruling Counsil stops short at the sound of footsteps. He wraps his cloak about him to hide his identity and pulls up his cowel over his head. He bows before the priestesses as they pass. The male Drow then and departs for House 2.[/font:1z6ovl83][/i:1z6ovl83][/size:1z6ovl83][/color:1z6ovl83]

"You wished for my presence Mistress?" He asks humbly, dropping to one knee with a slight intake of breath. His cane was left with the other equipment in the cupboard. His eyes and ears are alert however as he knows that if there is only himself and his Mistress here then she is in danger of assasination attempts.

Venn smiles to himself as he looks down at the floor. "All I found was in the bag Mistress. Except this, if I may be so bold." He reaches into a pocket and pulls out a ring. "This once adorned the finger of the High Priestess of House Del'Armgo. She used it to great effect to instill the belief in those that followed her that she could still call on the Dark Mother's powers." He smirks slightly. "It's pity someone switched it for a ring of Antimagic Aura. She was quite surprised when she couldn't even use her arcane magic." He hands another ring to Chiana. "Oh and this, is for you, most fairest of Matron's."

He stands up and pulls out a slim, circular case of velvet. He opens it facing towards Chiana and inside is a wonderful black pearl tiara crafted of silver and embedded with spider stone.

"As for putting you into a bad situation Mistress. I most humbly apologise. You will have to punish me again..." He grins impishly.

Watches the few flee and signs her duathers to follow and kill them, non are to be allowed to live. She has done most of the work, not sure why her House has to do all of it. Perhaps House Neantak d' bel'la and House Do’ Ghym actually have become so weak that they hold their rank by tradition. Their secert war, fostered by Silaqui might have weaken them enough. Returning to House Mei'gal considers ideas on how to bring the two Houses into open war. The boy might be used as a tool somehow, if a spy can reach him.

The two Matrons with child might be an advantage also. This might cloud their judgement to some extent.
