Hello! Please don't be a dead website. If someone posts here I swear I'll start roleplaying...

Be careful what you wish for, Joseph. You may just get it.

I don't hang around the roleplaying sections myself, as I don't always have the time to come here, but this website is far from dead.

Welcome to the forum.

Indeed not dead, however not much role play going on now. You however did not post to the correct part of the forum. You should post further down.

There seem to be other "Hello, I'm new" threads in the General Discussion forum. Where do you think that Joseph should have posted his thread? :?

Well post in OOC thread for RP would have been better if one is here for RP, some of the hello I am new are those that want discussion as opposed to RP.

Also many of hello I am new do not get past moderation because they are spammers, either in sig or are so generic that they are rejected as off topic as suspected spammers. The former get banned the later get off topic notification advising them to try better post.

Aha. Got you. I wonder if a moderator could move the thread to the OOC forum, if that is where it needs to go. :?

I really do hate spammers. Every community needs new people, but not fake people.

Hopefully Joseph is a real person (and a real drow fan wanting to do drow roleplaying) and not a spammer.

Compared to you guys I'm. Drow newb. But I know how to roleplay and have one it before. Although my character was a human worshipper of Eilistraee. Jonal Songbird. Nice guy. Still I'd like to role ply if you'll have me. I'd prefer to use him but I can make a new drow character if necessary.

Not every character has to be Drow. Heck does not even have to follow the Dark Maiden. We have had Spider kissers, those Orcs and so on. Play your human follower. Either try to start one or perhaps visit cavern, as I certainly still playing there if any one posts. Oh you might try to waken another thread as well, however many of them are missing a key player or more. *sighs*

I have not noticed them mentioned here before, so I suspect very few fans of them here.

Greetings Joseph and welcome to our little clearing on the web. :)

Can't say that I can recall ever having had any dealings with Gondsmen. Not even entirely sure what they are (beyond men related somehow to the deity Gond I'd imagine). So can't say that I'm a fan. But to each their own.

Either way, welcome again and may you find a home of sorts here.

Love -x-x-x-

They basically are sentient golems, or something along those lines.

Oh, and welcome :)

Well I am waiting, this site is not dead. Not very active it is true. The only way to become more active is to posts at least a week, a day or an hour could be better.

Many, many apologies for my long time absence. Alas, I confess I grew bored, what with so many of the other players gone away. or waiting on others to post responses, who seemed to have vanished. In my absence, however, I read the Neverwinter Saga, and found my interest in these RPs rekindled. Also, I have found our dear Veraka, after much searching, via Facebook. He has said he would post as soon as he finds an opportunity, and I recommended posts to Come Little Children, and Darkness Falls, Light Shatters for his first return posts. Via email, I've confirmed that Pheurazath will join back in, once Veraka does, she's apparently been worried about his apparent disappearance. No word on anyone else yet, though.

Also, welcome to the forums Joseph. Please, feel free to post into the Cavern Tavern RP anytime. It's a social RP with little to no restrictions on race or class, and since it's more social instead of adventuring, not really all that necessary to have a detailed character written out, unless you have any intent of getting into PvP scenarios within it, and then it might be a good idea to have a character sheet written out, so you can privately trade info on DCs and such to help the other players involved gauge outcomes and reactions.
