Just an idle thought that really doesn't mean anything other than the fact that I'm thinking out loud, but your sword reminds me a LOT of the Soul Edge from the Soul Calibur series. Possible inspiration maybe? Just curiosity.

[quote="Tyrmer":p1juc0dm]I very much agree on the wisdom thing. But I would still be very interested at being pointed to the site with the rules he was constructed under.

I've given the site name before I believe. Szithla is its name. It's a point based RP forum.

Having knowledge itself is not wise, knowing how to use the knowledge is wise.

I think this was meant for me, there is a quote function that could be used.

Knowledge is the ability to throw a pumpkin one kilometer.

Wisdom is knowing when one should throw the pumpkin one kilometer.

Knowledge is a power, just as much as using brute force is a power.
Wisdom is knowing when what power you have should be used.

=0 So ... what you're saying is that one needs Wisdom before Knowledge before Power?

One can become wise at any time, often it takes time to become wise.

One does not need to become wise before building power, there are many that have power that are not wise.

All I am saying is a wise person knows how to use what power they have and when to use it.

A wise person without power can only say words of wisdom, that will not be heeded.

Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that we're discussing philosophy with a Spider Kisser? (kidding dude, don't kill me!)

Am I the only one who doesn't know what a spider kisser is?

A Spider Kisser is a near racist term for a follower of Lloth.

... techinically it isn't exactly racist - in fact, aren't the Priestesses always happy to be known as "Spider-Kissers"?

I don't see how it could be considered offensive when many worshipers of the Spider Queen do in fact pet and kiss spiders. They're sacred animals to these people so I fail to see how it'd be an insult even if it were meant to be by the person who said it.

And I did say I was kidding.

Well I was online for a long time before I saw the term.

IAE a "spider kisser" refers to a worshipper of Lolth

Oh the term clearly is not racist as some Drow use the term to apply to other Drow. It though clearly an insult to followers of Lolth.
