A new Character

[Ishtar]

Here is a Character idea I have played around with, and looking to see if there is a spot where a stray soul may find a place or a home.

[b:1g2pydif]Description:[/b:1g2pydif] This hybrid is one that has many questioning whom was the mother and father. She has a feline and Drow combination look to her, with the skin being hidden by a fine layer of obsidian black fur, from head to toe. Long white hair, with strange half Drow half lioness ears poking through the white locks. The facial features have a slight feline like, with a 1/4 size of a muzzle, the nose, some whiskers, fangs, and her red eyes are slitted. Her fingers instead of having retractable claws, they are fully drow hands, but they end with hardened sharp claw tips instead of finger nails. Her primary weapon of choice. She does have lioness like tail again black fine fur. The legs are digi-gradded with feline feet, with claws. Great for pouncing and running, leaping, even soft pads to help with stealth.

[b:1g2pydif]Personality:[/b:1g2pydif] Ishtar is the type that is striving to show herself and prove oneself to anyone willing to watch. Cautious and calculating waiting and biding for the right moment to unleash ones power. She is also young and curious with a sense of adventure. She comes by it by living the majority of her life on the out skirts of the city, and training in the wilds to learn the feral arts of combat, to be a beast before being a noble.

[b:1g2pydif]Weaknesses:[/b:1g2pydif] Knowledge, limited education about society, others and about acting around others. Education, none, doesn't know how to read or of religion or worshiping a god or goddess. Sensitivity to light.

[b:1g2pydif]Special Abilities:[/b:1g2pydif]
[b:1g2pydif]- Telepathy:[/b:1g2pydif] She has a limited range one way communication, 60feet range thought projection. As she is not a full Hellcat she isn't able to have full conversations, just small thoughts she can project to send messages to a single target. Good for scouting a head of parties.
[b:1g2pydif]- Invisible in Light:[/b:1g2pydif] Can become invisible in any area lit well enough for a human to see. In a darkened area, she shows up as a faintly glowing outline visible up to 30 feet away (60 feet if the viewer has low light vision) Magical darkness smothers the glow and conceals the outline. Due to being half breed, she can shifts between being seen and not, though must concentrate to keep invisible.
[b:1g2pydif]- Darkness Cloud:[/b:1g2pydif] Being Drow she has the ability to summon a globe of darkness, it isn't strong and big as full Drow, but it is enough to help in situations.

Ishtar was born through the combination of a Drow Priestess and the Devil bezekiras or Hellcat. The Priestess was falling out of graces with Loth and the house she was in was about to be destroyed. Before that happened, she managed to do a summoning spell in hopes to mate with an outer plannar creature to create a hybrid demon kid like that of the first houses Matron mother. Not being granted the best spell components or skill she mated with the Hellcat whom chores her to believe it would be good and she would gain the favor of her goddess.

Running away before the house battle, she was able to give birth in the wilds and outskirts to Ishtar, the feral hybrid drow/feline creature. They lived on the outskirts, she training Ishtar to be a feral fighter, using the devil feline strength and speed in combination to the Drow's reflexes to be an efficient hunter/killer. By a young age, she was becoming a very good hunter, and takes down the most feared predator in the underdark, another Drow or a Scouting party of them. Speed, stealth, and strength was her key to taking them down and bringing home the spoils of the kill to feed and bring fortune to her mother, or in her eyes, care taker trainer.

As Ishtar grew older she started to fit into the armors and clothes that she had stolen from the dead. Her mother finally figured it was time to seek a new house for her to return to the glory of Loth. Using her own daughter Ishtar to compete in the Gladiator matches, she wagered that Ishtar would best House Strale's gladiator champion. If Ishtar was to win, they would gain entry into the house, or least she would gain entry and become a priestess, while Ishtar would continue to battle within the pits as the new champion.

The battle was quick, it was as if an assassin was present. Ishtar stood over the strong Minotaur. Its lower jaw in her hand as the pool of its blood was forming around its head and chest. Many years pasted, and many more battles to be won and she did win, as it was win or die in the arena. Ishtar got out a few times on house missions to scout the underdark, there she learnt from the scouts how to perform the scouting role and she proved up to the task, and also was very handy in a battle, putting her feral fighting skills to the work.

Also learning a little about Female roles, and some other things, not enough to really be educated to the normal standards of the low drow. She has been classed as a lesser creature, slave to the house, controlled by her mother. Ishtar had suspected that the woman was her mother, and like all daughters, they seek power and that power may end in over throwing their parents to gain the position. That much she has learnt through talking with the patrols when allowed to go out without supervision of her mother. After one match and in the privacy of the cell in which her home was in the arena. She killed her mother and took her place to walk out of the Arena. Although, she never went to the house to claim the prize, she just left and is now free.
