Worlds creation & Meduana
CREATION OF WORLDS
------------------------------
There exist many hundreds gods. Gods for more than one thing,
gods for one thing, and everyone one of them is equally important,
but not equally powerfull and aligned with each other.
They created the planets with landscapes we know of, and some we don't.
After creating the planets, all the gods decided that each of them should create
a few creatures to inhabitate these planets.
Thus came to the world Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Dragons
and many other creatures to life, with the purpose of survival.
The humans had a great adaptability and was eager to learn,
quickly they became one of the dominant races faring on the planets,
which brought them both fame, furious enemies, and with that internal problems.
Other races as we know them today, came to be after these first born races.
THIS IS, WHAT IS TOLD
-------------------------------
The orcs was tall, slim, got long pointy ears, generally looking stunningly good,
and no one should ever question their pride without reason.
They all lived in a city upon large clouds that floated in the air, just above some mountains.
All the buildings was white, without edges on the outside,
except from the pearlgolden roofs that looked liked bloated cones, pointing into the air.
A truly magnificent sight, that was worth all the time one could afford to wait,
when the sun was shining down from above, making it all sparkle like jewels.
The name of this, and the only orc city, carried a name as stunning as its appereance,
Sharka Qwana.
This is what is told from the few that have ventured to the top of the mountain, where the city floats near and above.
But it is not where our adventurers start their journey, and battles must be fought, maybe even epic ones,
before the adventurers get to see this magnificent looking city.

Each of you that wants to participate in this adventure,
must PM with what of the available races you want to play,
and what skillpoints you want in the different skills. + character name.
In certain places in the adventure, you will be given the opportunity,
to increase some of your skills.

(Dwarves have +4 (D) and -2 (d) roll modifier to skills)
NOTE: the skill roll modifiers, is to make up for the lack of attribute point distribution,
don't wanna make things too complicated for people that don't know my RPG rulesystem.

As im am slightly confused about your character creation what are the nine points and fifteen points and all that stuff. I come from dnd character generations from 3.5 ediditons. Im alittle lost

It's very simple, you may max put 9 points into a skill,
in the character creation process.
And you got a total of 15 points to distribute,
in the character creation process.
(Humans excepted)
Not sure it can be explained better,
seems pretty straight that way. ...to me.
Let me know if there is anything else you want to know?
in the character creation process.

The reason to why only Humans and Dwarves is playable in this adventure,
is that it takes place before some of the playable races existance,
and my own invented creatures still lack proper background stories.
AND...
I still need some basics story for even Human and Dwarves,
but as is atm, are the ones that primarily is in appereance and behaviour,
like you know the classic ones, from other/most games/rulesets.

In that case, i'm afraid i'm going to take a step back from this one, as i really can't see myself playing either of the two races ^^;
Still, i'd be more than interested in joining up with the main group when another race is going to be 'unlocked' during the course of the RP. I'll be following this one ^^

K, Ix!
...Elrohir, you said you wanted to join, but I haven't heard from you... does this mean you step back too?
To ALL you other people, you're welcome to join the adventure,
though I only got 2 races to choose from, I have set the amount of allowed players to 10.
(don't think one of these games in here ever reach that high, but just to make sure there is plenty of room for joiners).

yeah im here still i just got sucked into WoW the last week and have neglected all other internet uses. Ill be a Dwarf one question tho do you allow the uses of blackpowder or dwarven rune cannons? If not its cool thats just an aspect of dwarves that will sway my decision on what type of dwarf to make.

Dwarven gunpowder, cannons and alike do not exist in/on Meduana,
solely for that reason, I got a player world where some
of these races exist (mainly races I did NOT mark with an * in my list),
where present/future equipment exist.
I might be able to allow gnomes, would you like to play a gnome Ix?
...I would like too, to hear what race you would like to play if allowed?

Well, call it being biased, but i never play short races. I'm from a tall family, and us dutchies are tall to begin with. Everything under five feet is just... I dunno, i can't get into playing them right. The 'feel' just isn't there, know what i mean?
As for race... Umm, i've played succubi, demons, elves, undead (necrophobic necromancer -- he was afraid of corpses so he animated every corpse he came across) and a long, [i:10a6l1yi]long[/i:10a6l1yi] line of halfbreeds, not all of them common.
And a Pixie. The only character under five feet i enjoyed playing. Acording to the Monster Manual (I, page 237), they've got a +4 level adjustment though, so that may not be an option in your RP
Umm... If you don't have that book, i could list what they get when made as a character, so you can tone them down where necessary?

1. I don't know. Maybe it's because i work in a store all day, and quite honestly get annoyed by all the humans around me. Actually, most of them are a reason to NOT get a social life.
Or, me thinking that the dominating race is average and boring by default. Not sure how it started, but when there's a list of races i barely even glance in the general direction of 'human'.
2. Ah yeah, kind of drifted off topic there . Umm... Not knowing the custom races, i'd go for an Elf, or alternatively an Orc.
