Forgot to post this:

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown, has managed to fail again.
"Once upon a time there was a game...A game with many teamplay, and a game with a decent AI...Once upon a time"

Graphics are great, but it's still something you haven't seen before...

Spore is definitely high on my most wanted list (just below NWN2 in fact). Having seen last year’s GDC footage that game just looks like [i:229ayx64]fun[/i:229ayx64], which is something most games these days fail to be (all focusing on better graphics, more complex system, etc instead of just having a fun game).

Other than that is Dreamfall. Finished the game before that (The Longest Journey) just last week. Though with much more simplistic puzzles, rather pointless combat and sneaking systems and (once again) a too sudden and unsatisfying ending I’m afraid the game might not be as good as I’m hoping. We’ll see.

Beyond that there isn’t really much there. Gothic 3 might be alright, but I couldn’t quite get into the previous games either (or the demos of them at least). I’m completely done with WoW. I’ve tried the Auto Assault beta and it just plainly sucks. Project Offset looks pretty good, but I think it’s just a FPS in a fantasy setting. And for the rest I’ve either haven’t even heard of it or it’s a genre I don’t have the least bit interest in.

Still, with Neverwinter Nights 2 it promises to be a pretty good year regardless. :D

Project Offset is one of those games that fits the old "Imagine a Battlefield in a fantasy setting" kind of games. But the graphics made me drool though...

I'd like to get either Gothic III, Conan:HA, or Hellgate: London. Flagship Studios hold a group of the old Diablo creators (acctually it's just a handfull of them that made the studios.) so it promises alot for me.

NwN 1, 2 are definately on my list, as is WoW, and maybe Rainbow Six: Vegas, but from my experiance with the game I higly doubt it. Sam & Max, I'd like to see it, but it's not a Lucas Arts creation, so I'm not that enthusiastic.

As for "more graphics, less fun" I agree wiht you. Take Rainbow Six: Lockdown, or eaven Lula 3D, Crash day, or what ever crap. Rainbow Six' got great graphics, but how do I TELL THIS DUMB BOT TO GET OUT OF MY WAY WHILE I'm KILLING?!?!

NwN2 and Gothic III are looking nice. Most likely I'll just settle for them for now... :)

UPDATE:

The game for my list right now is Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

But seriously:

1 GB RAM
3.0 GHz
Graphic Card X800

People! I can barely squeeze out 600 MHz out of this computer, how do I get that out?!

Anyway another game reached my list: Quake wars: Enemy Territory.
Carmack's old DOOM III engine's been updated, and if that peice of crap can make pictures like this one (scroll down), I'm gonna make that jackass eat my socks!

You might want to try defragmenting your computer, if you haven't recently. It speeds it up a lot.[/color:15paixe8]

Neverwinter Nights 2 is top of the list.
Morrowind: Oblivion is a close second
I know it's been out a while, but; Age of Empires III

All these games require a new computer, though, so it will be a while before I buy them.

And, yes I know it's an old game but, Planescape: Torment. I have been hunting down a copy for the past 3 years here, and do you think I can find one?

P.S. Mhz has nothing to do with the hard drive, that's the prtocessor speed.
The only solution for a slow processor is an upgrade.

I've got Planscape: Torment but the only problem I have is that the CD's are so old I can barely start autorun!

Gonna have to get the game, burn some and get it running.

Ozzie: Maybe some game stores've got it. It's not that old!

P.S> Black Isle's a great game maker *khm* pardon *WAS* A great game maker, but couldn't they use a better engine?! I always wondered if that would save them....

I've also been looking for, and have been unable to find Planescape: Torment. I think I might have to try Ebay or something :/

Ebay is like Wikipedia. They have absolutely everything, but they're really cheap. (Wikipedia's entries aren't that good, as encyclpedias go, but they have an entry for everything.)[/color:f0c00tdg]
