its metaphorical payke..like the cat in the other poem..i never tell people what my poems mean to me because i would prefer for them to decide what my poems mean to them.So I ask you, what do you think about the tower of glass?

Beautifull but fragile...As soon as the wind breaks loose it shatters.

Nice metaphore.

I slump in a corner
With a badly battered psyche

My mother lies motionless in the middle of the
Ring
Bloody and bruised

While Death dances along the ropes
Raising his arms in victory!

The knockout came so suddenly
A sneaky punch right on the
Chin
Blowing away my flimsy hopes

I reached up to the sky and cried out in
Anguish
Invoking both Heaven and Hell
But all to no avail...

Nice bloody poem Rooky!

Nedylene, I have much of the same intention
when I let people read my poems, though I do like
to hear about their personal issues for writting the poem
as well!

Rooky that was a nice one! I'm impressed.
Nedylene you really should try to hit it big time. Well I'd be more than happy to buy a tome of your poems in a book store. ;) I'm even more impressed. I always wrote to describe and name certain things going on inside me or just to react. It's a sort of psychological matter. I don't really read that much poems to be good at writting it. Prose I (let's say) can write. Been doing it for some time now, but still I'm afraid to send it anywhere. Don't think anyone would want to print it.

...myself I don't got enough for publishing anything, yet!

The old stuff I've counted in the number of 178 pages in word... But I got rid of it, couse I didn't like it. And back to the drawing board, of to the key board in this case. From the beggining of summer '06 I've maged to write ~70 pages. Don't know exactly. And it's little for that amount of time. Very little.

I don't know what happened. I wasn't drunk, and I avoid smoking pot. I don't know how I wrote that. I never maneged it before...

Poetry is into everyone,
it's just that,
everyone is not into poetry!

I spread my wings,
Want to fly away,
But all the things
I know, leave me to die.

An island is my home
Exceeding it the see
Of fire and sorrow
This is my place to be.

Once me was a prince,
Light-bearer my name was.
Still I carry it shinning,
But changed it is.

Do I envy any man?
What is there to envy?
Try to gain again and again
That, what was taken,
Before it got to my hands
And it should be then,
That I should reign.

I don’t cry,
Never did
Never will.
But even now I can still fly...
