NWN 2 Limited/Collectors edition

NWN 2 Limited/Collectors edition

Some of the gamers here in germany already hold the game in their hands and they discovered a very interesting thing:

on the DVD are multiple languages!

It looks like Atari made only a few different versions of the DVD. So if you buy the CE of NWN 2 you can choose the language you want to use [b:1g3axtoy]within[/b:1g3axtoy] the game...

Now some of us (not me anymore ;)) have a perfect excuse to play a game: "No mum, i'm not just playing, i'm learning *insert language here*!"

So far the [b:1g3axtoy]european[/b:1g3axtoy] version of the LE/CE contains: English, French, German, and Italian or Spanish (not sure about the last one).
Not to try is to admit defeat!

CE = Collector's Edition

Actually, it's rather more confusing than just that. They have a "Limited Edition" and they have a "Collector's Edition" and goddess knows what the difference is.

But it gets worse... these special editions (or one of them anyway) also come in two flavors: Lawful Good and Chaotic Evil. Truly.

So you [i:2vsl7s0d]could[/i:2vsl7s0d] have a CE CE NWN2. Sounds almost Spanish. :p

I wanted a lawfull evil one.... but they only had the chaotic evil one the place I preordered it from. Not even a choice..

I still think they should have made a Lawfull Evil![/size:3g06goha]

It's quite funny:

Standard Edition:
Europe - NWN 2 on DVD
USA - NWN 2 on 7(!) CD <- that [b:3ivaexic]really[/b:3ivaexic] hurts!

Limited edition:
Europe - None!
USA - NWN 2 on DVD

Collectors Edition - either Lawful Good or Chaotic Evil
All - NWN 2 on DVD with goodies (varying for each country)
Not to try is to admit defeat!

Limited and Collector's Editions are not worth the extra money to me.

I'm going for Standard.
