What would you do if you actually encountered a drow IRL?

I'm not sure if this topic has ever been raised/discussed and I'm too lazy to go trawling through the boards to find if it has so anyway...

Ok, my responce is this:

I hope I encountered a drow female [for obvious reasons

] and she didn't try to kill me on sight

then I would be very respectful and introduce myself, hoping that their is no language barrier. If she understood and could speak English then I would try and find out how she got to Earth and why she is here. Then I would offer to be her guide and explain as best as I could, what sort of a world she is in. I would also warn her about the governemnt which would probably want to kiddnap her and subject her to all sorts of nasty tests etc. The best strategy for her survial would be two possibilities:

1- stay hidden and try to not draw attention to herself while she explored the world

or

2 - come out and get the maximum amount of media exposure as possible so that the various shadowy governemnt agencies won't dare to come near her as they hate public attention.

Ultimately the choices are hers but I think she would probably enjoy the attention that being a media sensation would bring.

And I hope she & I would, at the very least, become friends.

there was no option for rape

besides, you'd have to be dam sure you were going to get away with it as I think the drow lady would want to get her own back on the one who violently violated her

Well, I'd like to have an opportunity to befriend a drow female. Gods how that would rock. If I survived the encounter, I'd try to bring the relationship on more carnal tracks. But a guide is the best way to befriend a drow in my opinion.

id probably do what Talwyn would do but at the same time make my own observations after all this would be and earth shattering discovery since that of fire ,splitting the atom or space travel.

Let's just say that option has its merits, but much more drawbacks.

-who's ever heard of a drow female that got raped?
-if she survived, she'll want revenge
-the likelihood of getting killed in the process is far greater than while having friendly intercourse
