Thoughts Thread...

Allow me to put a few simple rules;

Don't talk about my underwear.

That's all.

Here's one...

The difference between only Existing and Living. It's been bugging me a while, and I can't come to terms with it.
To me Existing is only...well, being alive because you're alive.
Living is when you've proven that you're struggles are worth the effort, and that you, in the end gain something from it.

Question:

is it better to have loved & lost than to never have loved at all?
In War: Resolution. In Defeat: Defiance. In Victory: Magnanimity. In Peace: Goodwill.

To love and loose. Makes you more living, experienced.

Something from me: I like beer. And mead.

Well it depends, if you were married and get divorced it's better to have never loved at all because you just lost half your stuff. ;)

On another note,

What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

and furthermore where DID they find those coconuts?

Finally if you're a bus driver and drive 5 miles east, 10 miles north, 15 miles west, 20 miles south east, 30 miles north, and 12 miles up, what colour is the bus driver's hair?
I never stab people in the back, it's much more pleasurable to be able to see the expression on their face.

What do you call sour cream when it goes bad?

Why do they call a building when it has been built?

Why do you drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?

What do you call New Wave when it becomes old?

If you are driving a car at the speed of light and you turn your headlights on, do you see them?

Saw this in someone's sig at some point (honest): "If a tree falls in a forest and nobody is around to hear it, am I still wrong?"

How many roads must a man walk down...

The difference between only Existing and Living. [/quote:1ldpyjjy]
For me it's all about purpose. Right now I live out of curiosity, I have no reason to get out of bed than to see what happens over the course of my day, usually not very much. But sometimes something wonderful, cathartic, schadenfruedian or simply refreshing happens.

Love is a drug, just say no... I sure as hell wish I could.

Gross

a structure

because parkways go through or end in parks and driveways are where driving begins.

crap is still crap no matter how old :p

Yes, for the same reason you don't float when you jump in an elevator.

However many it takes him to realize that it doesn't matter but keeps walking anyway.

*Checks a mirror* reddish brown

And finally mine: Why is it that looking back the good old days rocked but when I was living through them they sucked?

Good question. Why don't people live their lives while they still can, and start doing so only once they get to know they're going to die in, let's say, months?
