Dungeons & Dragons on Microsoft Surface

As [url=http://kotaku.com/5385175/dungeons--dra ... y:14bbsxqi]Kotaku[/url:14bbsxqi] reports a bunch of students have created a "proof on concept" application for Microsoft's very expensive multi-touch Surface table, allowing people to play Dungeons & Dragons (4E I presume) on it. And it's looking quite interesting.

Though it'll probably be a decade or so before things like that have any common use, I can definitely see the next version of D&D (or the one after that) being made to play on such a table. Looks like it could be quite fun.
