At the beginning I thought that she was singing about a girl who died, then it became clear that she was singing about her past self. I liked this song, a lot (so, thanks for sharing). I think that most people have regrets, or choices that they would change if they could, and I've kinda experienced first hand the feeling of ''being lost along the way''. However, there's nothing that can be done about that, if not to try and make something good out of what life has become.
