I have to correct you here Nim, no offense btw

Where do I know that theme from?[/quote:31edtjjj]
[b:31edtjjj]Conan the Barbarian used most of Carmina Burana as a soundtrack[/b:31edtjjj].[/quote:31edtjjj]
No it didn't.
Conan's musical score was done by Basil Polidorus and is completely different to Carmina Burana which was used for the film Excalibre. Both scores are "heavy" classical music but they are two entirely different scores.

Argoth, the theme I believe that you are thinking [Pruit Igoe] of comes for 3 seperate films. The first and original is Koyannisqatsi - Life out of Balance [well worth watching I may add].
The 2nd time this piece has been used was in GTA IV and most recently in the film the Watchmen when Dr Manhatten builds his flying glass clock on Mars.

And unfortunately it still doesn't work if you live in the UK... stupid UK music video ban[/url:3tmfm7ae].
Lucky the other one did work. And yes, absolutely love Blackmore's Night. Their music is wonderful.

Here's some Rob Dougan.
First, Furious Angels:
[youtube:278olse3]HDi9OeJqwG4[/youtube:278olse3]
Second we have Clubbed to Death (this is the Kurayamino variation I think, known from The Matrix apparently):
[youtube:278olse3]GHJZbCBXtDc[/youtube:278olse3]
Then I'm Not Driving Anymore with a Doctor Who video:
[youtube:278olse3]nm-kn-XG01k[/youtube:278olse3]
And finally There's Only Me (ignore the Harry Potter video):
[youtube:278olse3]9H98-2Z8szw[/youtube:278olse3]
If these (particularly the last two) sound vaguely familiar then that's quite possible. Bonus points for who knows (without looking it up) where the instrumental versions of these songs are used.

I couldn't pick the last 2, where they may have been used.
Still, I liked the first video, really intriguing.
Now, something sweet and girly
This will send argoth running for his earphone
