OMFG! I can't believe I found this by sheer chance  :))

IMHO quite possibly one of the best Calypso songs ever made - play it a party when everyone has a had a few and watch everyone get into the groove. It's fabulous.

One of the all time greatest Soul songs by the late & great Jackie Wilson.

I've always thought this is a nice one to dedicate to Eilistraee.

The lyrics say it all.

Just some of the things I'm listening to lately. Still I'm a declared fan of Tristania, Dark Tranquility, Behemoth, Death and others, but apart from that, listen to this:

Add the song's mood and you get an extremely depressed me.

Mike Shinoda is really the only reason I like rap these days.

I saw the anime Elfen Lied over the weekend and absolutely loved the opening song. So here's an extended version of it (fan-made I believe as there isn't an official extended version as far as I know):

Beautiful and nicely melancholic. :)

I've actually been avoiding that show because I'm told it's ridiculously gory, but that song is delightful. Call me weird, but this is one of those songs I'd often listen to after drawing the curtains and settling down in my comfy chair for some think-think-think time. It's also the song that, in the right mood, will no doubt evoke an emotional response in me. Might even make me cry, lord knows it's beautiful enough.

A+ Shir'le.

Elfen Lied is one the strangest anies I've ever seen, but I haven't seen 'em all. Suppose there's lots more weird sh%t out there, but I don't think I wanna know.

right, after that dose of steaminess and sultry songs perhaps something a little more wholesome and safe.

You could see this as a hymn to Eilistraee rather than a lovesick girl pinning after her boyfriend ;)
