Karas speaks: "As no-one else has spoken, I suggest that this is what we do. It will be an excellent way for you to demonstrate your loyalty to Karazan."

"Once that matter is dealt with, we'll discuss the other two groups, who are still some distance away and moving slowly on foot."

<t>"We don't know if the duergar approach with hostile intention," Karas says. "They may be well-armed because they are cautious and in new territory. My own feeling tells me that they are traders. It would make sense to encounter them in the open, before they know of the existence of Karazan.<br/> ...

I'm glad to hear you're on the mend. You've had a tough time.

I'll post on your behalf, where I can in the Karazan game. I'm sure you've got much more serious things to focus on though.

Keep positive and keep on getting better.

<t>Karas frowns a little after hearing Vielochar's answer. "We do know orcs to be very warlike, and warlike cultures take pride in producing the tools of war very well. We should be wary of thinking that the orcs here are like those of Faerun. They came here, probably, because they were refugees, th...

The last time I calculated Karazan's population, it came to 100 - that includes the farmers.

Each farm is about 10 acres. The 'town' also has regular scouting patrols, so the alarm would be raised early enough to give people time to get behind the walls.

<t>We can change the ratios as the population increases. Currently, it's about 100, so a 50% increase will be welcome, since it gives the Houses some real numbers.<br/> <br/> Then again, instead of percentage increase, how about a set number increase? Which means as the pop' gets higher, the real pe...

That's an idea, or we could have it that whoever appears to be 'leading' gets a 20% increase, second gets 15%, third 10% and 4th 5%.

What do you think?

Arya's been in touch with me recently. I've not heard much from Triss or Talwyn. Talwyn's a worry, he's been ill for quite some time. I do hope he's getting better.

Anyway, I will give the thread a day, and post on behalf of Talwyn and T'Riss in order to keep the game going.

Karas looks around the table but doesn't say anything. He is probably waiting for the others to have their say.
