<r>I was looking through the old members that have posted. I figured I would see if any of them left contact info so they could be kindly reinvited to join us again and become active again. Re: WotC's take on Eilistraee in 5E
<t>[quote="Ogrim":16j6ucrc]In the early books, it's mentioned that the longest living Drow known of was somewhere around 800 years old. While I agree using Drizzt as a 'reason' to do things like that is absurd. However, in the books I've read so far, Drizzt isn't even past his 2nd century of life. H...

Re: Eilistraee's Nicknames/Alias'
<t>Also there are those whom may like Eilistraee's Dogma but have some other personal issue that prevents them as a follower so they go someplace where she has little direct influence and uses it for themselves. Either something of a scam artist with "good intentions" that wants the prestige such a ...

Re: Eilistraee as drow goddess of love/lovers (among the other things)?
<t>I would think that would more lead to her including Maternal desires in her portfolio than love. The same way any mother smiles and perhaps even frets a little when a favored child is taking the next step in a major courtship. After all in D&D it seems those that include love in their portfol...

Re: Eilistraee as drow goddess of love/lovers (among the other things)?
<t>Not to take a pot shot at optimism, but do we have any canon support for such a thing? The only thing I can recall from any source material that would honor this is the fact that Veladorn actually had a husband. Beyond that I can think of no action that supports this. Sure she doesn't punish as L...

Re: Eilistraee's Nicknames/Alias'
Well I did say fan, not follower. And we were talking about alternate versions of ways people my understand or act on Eilistraee's lessons in other worlds or isolated cultures.

Re: Eilistraee's Nicknames/Alias'
That opens up another option. A high end fan of Eilistraees traveling the planes posing as her. Spreading a religious teaching similar to hers.

Re: ESO goes free
<t>I tried Second Life a couple times over the years. Every single time I was talked into trying it by some friends then when it came time for me to login they were nowhere to be found for days on end. So both times I ended up in a vague non-descript game wandering trying to figure out just anything...

DDO vs Neverwinter (long and aggressive)
<r>I just posted this on Reddit and I expect it will get deleted due to tender soft feelings being bruised. I suspect this place is much more mature and I won't get in trouble for being honest and aggressive.<br/> <br/> [quote:c18k75ey]DDO by a landslide<br/> <br/> Neverwinter is the autistic cousin...

Outwards and social Networking
<t>Do we have any hooks out for networking at all? Social networking or anything?<br/> <br/> I've been having some interesting conversations with Ed and Elaine as of late on Facebook. I had attempted to lure Elaine here before I realized she had a deadline approaching within the next two weeks. I su...
