Re: New character on the drawing board...

<t>Heheh, can the Dark Maiden's priestesses deal with listening to a cat refer to himself in third person, constantly?<br/> <br/> Example:<br/> "Greetings, Rahj welcomes the gray-skins to his camp. He would break bread with them, share his fire, and if you have the coin, Rahj has goods he will sell....

Re: New character on the drawing board...

Oh, pardon me, getting all in-game lingo going. Beast blood, is how it's referred to in the Skyrim game. It's basically just lycanthropy by a different name that can be more easily dismissed as talking about something else if the wrong parties overhear something about it.

New character on the drawing board...

<t>Hi again folks, since most of the RPs I've had Sariss in have been slow, or even dropping into complete inactivity, and I want to get back in the saddle, I've been pondering making up an alternate character. Last night it occurred to me, as I sat playing Skyrim, while I wouldn't be particularly u...

Re: OOC: The Promenade: Shelter, Church, Home

<t>Seems I'm posting a lot here, with very little response... is anyone even paying any attention to this thread, anyway? Or am I just shouting into the wind? this isn't my plot folks, so hopefully someone is going to post some sort of response to my posts, in the RP thread, before I run out of mate...

Re: The Promenade: Shelter, Church, Home

<t>In silence of his approach, Sariss could spy the movements of patrols in the area. Drow indeed! They would be armed, he knew, and wary of attackers, or monsters. Working quick, and working silently, the ambush hunter sets about setting a trap spanning fine wire around stalagmites, and between the...

Re: OOC: The Promenade: Shelter, Church, Home

<t>Dunno if that entry post was much help to get me involved, but caution and stealth is true to character. Being not much taller than the tallest of halflings, vulnerable to temperature extremes, and far from the environments he's best suited to (primarily jungles or rainforests), Sariss is in a pl...

Re: The Promenade: Shelter, Church, Home

<t>The depths of Undermountain, Sariss had been there before, though as a prisoner... a toy for a mad, possibly even senile human wizard. The memory of that wizard brought bile up in his throat, and only caused further desire to see that wizard, that Halaster, run through on a roasting spit. Never b...

Re: OOC: The Promenade: Shelter, Church, Home

<t>Most details of Sariss in times after his first passage through Underdark remain as they were with his intro, about 3'5" lizardfolk with a well the same coloration and patterns as seen in my avatar picture. These are, the neutral colors. Being a Poison Dusk lizard, has many benefits, including a ...

Re: OOC: The Promenade: Shelter, Church, Home

<r>Guess I was somewhat misinformed? <E>:?</E> Oh well, no harm done, and my misinformation has been clarified. Now to the big question at hand. Is it too late for a lizard to get involved in this? And if not? Should it be during his time as one of Halaster's less than willing minions or sometime af...

Re: OOC: The Promenade: Shelter, Church, Home

<t>Well, I do have one curiosity, how and why is this temple located in Undermountain. Bearing well in mind, The Mad Wizard, Halaster, rules Undermountain, and he has an absolute hatred for Drow, regardless of their religion, only just barely tolerant of those who worship Eilistraee, as they are les...

Re: The Lizard rider

<t>Sariss considers the cloak, then removes some gear from his pack, and wraps that in the cloak, then puts more meat in his pack, since it is leather, and less likely to leak odors of the raw meat. The saddle, not likely equipped with saddle-bags, on short notice, he instead cuts away some of the m...

Re: The Lizard rider OOC

<t>Been floating around the web, forgot the name and address for CoE after awhile, and only recently found it again, and much to my delight, my account was still here, and so is my intro RP, although after my last post to it, no one ever replied. Oh well, perhaps I went into unfamiliar territory wit...

<t>Lizardman moves apart from the wall, his shape growing visible outlined by ambient body heat left on the dead lizard mount from its recently dismounted rider, and checking over it, pulling bolts out, and keeping those that aren't broken, [i:2ckyyip5]"Pass peacefully if you wish, but if you are hu...

Re: The Lizard rider

<t>Never did quite escape, rare few ever do escape their predicaments where Halaster is involved. One such soul lurks in the Underdark caves and caverns, ever since that mad rhyming wizard had stuck him down there. Sariss, unique member of his clan, unique only in that he has both lizard"folk, and d...
