ESO goes free

<t>It was officially announced that it would happen roughly a month ago. Elder Scrolls Online would go free to play in the Guildwars Style.<br/> <br/> Well I got the email yesterday that they did it a couple months ahead of schedule. I am installing now. I will be making an Champions of Eilistraee g...

Re: Eilistraee's Nicknames/Alias'

<t>That opens doors by the thousands. Nitch names that have difficulty spreading, regional aliases and the like. Also lends itself to the conversation in another thread regarding the influence deities may have on other 'worlds' aside from Faerun where they have minimal interaction but do have minor ...

Re: DDO Goes Faerun

I have a guild, Eilistraee's Champions, on Khyber server. I am on my fifth life currently as an archer/ranger and I've been trying to recruit people. Got so much money I can't find enough ways to spend it.

Re: Liriel Baenre and the Eilistraeens

<t>My personal opinion as to why Liriel ended up in following of Mystra is that the base of her character conflicted with the basis of Eilistraeen culture.<br/> <br/> Eilistraee is the D&D version of a bookworm and party girl hybrid. When reading the books I often wonder which is her primary lov...

Re: Complete Portfolio?

<t>This raises another theoretical question. In a world where having an actual conversation with your diety, or even speaking with them face to face, is possible. Just how much diversity can be justified in various micro-cultures? Not just Eilistraee where there maybe twenty thousand glades averagin...

Re: Drows, Dragonborns, and Bard in the Last Packet!

So short of the cliche of "old magic writing" type things. How would you suggest making language as a useful plot device?

Re: Drows, Dragonborns, and Bard in the Last Packet!

You know that brings to mind. Language and language barriers almost never play any part in any RPs I have encountered.

Re: Is the wiki gone?

<r>[quote="Shir'le E. If I do though I think I'd want to keep it fairly simple and straight-forward this time arou...

[quote="Shir'le E. Illios":2csgohae]I can imagine a Lawful individual living by their own strict set of rules...[/quote:2csgohae]

By that sentiment it would seem that Zaknafein and Jarlaxle would qualify as lawful as well. Later versions of Artemis as well.

I am not sure what you are using for a host. So realizing that you have very constricted free time i am not sure how your limited time+your host equates to the ability to do this. But...

Re: Prefall EIlistraee, vhauren, and Aurashnee worship

Not exactly on subject, but close.

As I recall Lolth's rebellion was the last of the 'great elven wars' was it not? Seems as if the near success of the Drow terrified the other elves into giving up large wars for good.

Afterlife without death
